Director Omnichannel and Content Delivery

As a Director, Omnichannel and Content Delivery, your main responsibilities will be oversight of a high performing team, and stakeholder management associated with both the commercial business teams that we serve and the functional shared service teams that we partner with to provide timely, cost effective, and high-quality end-to-end delivery of omnichannel content and campaigns on behalf of brand marketing teams.
The Director will oversee a team of resources spanning the following roles: Omnichannel Program Manager, Omnichannel Solution Owner and Content Delivery Manager. Between these roles, the team takes accountability for end-to-end content and omnichannel campaign delivery by understanding the marketing team’s vision for the customer experience they seek to create, transforming that vision into comprehensive requirements and actionable instructions for content production teams and campaign configurators, and ultimately coordinating, guiding, and managing the work being performed across multiple functions to enable and execute the defined campaign.
The successful candidate will need to establish appropriate best practices and standards for engagement and ways of working, while also developing an understanding for their assigned Therapy Area Brand Teams to balance where flexibility may be required to meet the needs of both our clients and customers.
The successful candidate should have expertise in content design/production and omnichannel campaign delivery as well as have knowledge of related technology tools and platforms. The candidate should be an experienced leader capable of developing and managing a talented team of professionals, and a highly effective collaborator with demonstrated experience in stakeholder management and developing cross-functional partnerships. The Director must be open-minded, clear in providing direction, and committed to meeting not only the goals of our clients, but also ensuring we do the right things to address the needs of our customers.
Core Job Responsibilities:
Drive adoption and manage delivery of GCO services in assigned US Therapy Area
Understand and maintain knowledge of commercial strategies and business objectives to align content and omnichannel campaign delivery services with brand goals
Manage, coach, and lead a delivery team whose primary responsibility is delivery of content and omnichannel campaigns at the TA/Market level.
Foster collaboration and partnership between direct reports and partnering teams that must work together to optimize the cost, quality, and speed of delivery.
Provide direction, guidance and support to direct reports aligned with both the goals and objectives of the business as well as the growth and development of the colleague in mind.
Stakeholder management with senior level Brand leaders.
Proactively identify opportunities to improve upon current ways of working
Leverage evaluation metrics and KPIs to assess delivery performance and define action plans to drive continuous improvement.
Demonstrate comprehensive understanding and application of all relevant policies, procedures and operational frameworks.
Ensures GCO direct and indirect reports comply with all appropriate Astrazeneca Code of Conduct policies and procedures
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree
7-10 years of experience in a similar role
Over 5 years of experience working on or in support of commercial teams within the pharmaceutical industry.
Expertise in one or more of the following: Content Design, Content Production, Omnichannel Campaign Design and/or Delivery, Website Assembly, and/or Digital Media optimization
Experience leading delivery teams, including vendor management, planning, budgeting and forecasting
Demonstrated leadership and coordination of resources to deliver in line with a single cohesive strategy
Project Management experience including risk mitigation & planning associated with complex programs
