【Alexion】Senior Manager, Sales Capability ( Academic knowledge and Selling Skills)
You will be responsible for:
- Develop mid/long-term training strategies focused on academic knowledge and practical selling skills, customized for specific therapeutic areas such as hematology (blood diseases), with a particular focus on rare diseases.
- Design, coordinate, and implement a variety of training programs for MCC (Medical Representatives) and RSD (Regional Sales Directors), ensuring timely and relevant content delivery.
- Manage all phases of training programs, including planning, execution, and post-training evaluations, ensuring continuous improvement of sales force capabilities.
- Incorporate strategic thinking into training designs by considering how knowledge and selling skills can address field-based challenges and contribute to business objectives.
- Design training programs (contents and methods) to respond to changing of the market and customer needs and ensure the training effectiveness remains in an increasingly competitive environment.
- Share knowledge, insights, and best practices with colleagues to optimize team potential and contribute to a culture of continuous learning.
- Monitor and visualize achievements and areas for improvement, driving the ongoing development of the sales force.
- Ensure completion of tasks required for MR qualification licensing.
You will need to have:
- 3-5 years of experience in a pharmaceutical company, working on specific therapeutic areas in Training, Marketing, Sales or Medical affairs. (Hematology area is preferable)
- Strong learning agility and adaptability to new concepts.
- A passion for personnel development with the perseverance to achieve set goals.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate persuasive ideas and effectively close sales.
- Ability to think strategically and design training programs that align with business goals and address on-the-ground challenges.
- Flexibility to adapt to differences in organizational culture and business manners between primary product business in big pharma and small, specialty product business in Alexion .
- Ability to assess the impact of provided training programs on the performance in field (e.g., behavior change etc.) through the observation and data-driven analysis.
- A proactive self-starter and collaborator, capable of engaging stakeholders, setting agendas, and driving conversations towards goal achievement.
- Strong team player with a collaborative spirit.
We would prefer for you to have: - Experience in training design and delivery in pharmaceutical companies, particularly based on instructional design principles.
- Experience working in or supporting teams in hematology or rare disease therapeutic areas.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Business acumen, with strategic thinking and creativity in solving complex challenges.
