About the role:
Reporting to the Vice President, CVRM and Early and Late Lifecycle management, the CommercialDirector leads the Wainua and Lokelma commercial team to successfully market these novel therapies in ATTR and Hyperkalemia. This includes leadership of all marketing initiatives including the development and execution of brand strategic and operational plans, lifecycle planning and direct leadership of the Key Account Managers(KAMs) and the marketing team.

Responsibilities:
Lead the team to buildcustomercentricstrategic plans to ensure brand success, including innovation in our go to marketapproach and forward-thinkingideas to improve the potential of the brands.
Provide leadership for cross-functionaldevelopment and execution of Key Account Plans, Brand Strategy, Positioning, Segmentation and Operational Plans.
Complete and measure impact of all marketing strategies and tactics to deliver on the brand objectives.
Partnercross functionally with medical, market access, corporate affairs and patient engagement teams on the enterprise transforming care strategy.
Lead the marketing team.
Lead the KAM Team,includingcapabilitydevelopment and forward-looking innovation in the approach to Key Account Management enterprisewide.
Work collaborativelywith leaders across the business to sharewinning initiatives and improveopportunities to develop and scale innovation in our commercial model.
Accountable for performance management, talent management and careerdevelopment of direct reports.
Development and ownership of commercial forecasts, budgets, and P&L.
Qualifications and Capabilities
University degree in science and/or business.
Specialty care marketing experience with Cardiology, Neurology, and key account management expertiseis an asset.
Comprehensiveunderstanding of the Canadian Healthcare environment.
In-depthunderstanding of competitivelandscape, able to frame strategic implications to improve business outcomes.
Strong leader with a general manager mind-set who can articulate a vision, set direction, and encourage dedication to achieve results.
Experience leading commercial teams, with a collaborative and inclusive leadership style and proven record of accomplishment to work successfully within a diverse team.
Enterprise thinking and entrepreneurial leadership throughleading change and transformation whilehaving a broader perspective of brand, TA and organizationalneeds.
Knows how to coordinate people and activitieseffectively to achieveimpactfuloutcomes.
Experience attracting, assessing, and developing talent while optimizing team performance in direct and matrixed leadership roles.
Outstandingstrategicproblemsolving, judgement and influencingskills.
Strong criticalthinking and planning skillswithability to implement plans with excellence.
Experience building and implementing digital strategies.
Strong financial acumen withability to develop budget and resourcing plans to ensure effective operationaldelivery.
Willingness to travel.
