ABOUT THE ROLE
The Axial Senior Project Manager collaborates with an Axial LT member or Enterprise process owners to coordinate, manage, and ensure timely delivery of various Axial projects and initiatives.
This role involves operationalizing ELT strategies and deliverables, implementing project delivery methodology, leading a global team of subject matter experts, and seeking project sign-off at regular control boards.
Experience in agile delivery and SAP Activate methodology is preferred. Reporting to the Head of the PMO, the role requires strong communication skills, a focus on delivery, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

We are seeking Project Managers with a consistent track record of leading groundbreaking SAP S/4HANA projects, from planning and mobilization to successful delivery.
Crucial requirements include excellent partner management and presentation skills, coupled with a strong focus on delivery.
The S/4HANA Project Manager (PM) will lead project teams or support larger projects/programmes from initiation to close, ensuring the delivery of effective solutions aligned with approved customer and business needs.
Project Managers are responsible for resolving and delivering solutions within approved budget and schedule commitments, while meeting required quality and compliance standards.
Key focus areas include risk management, delivery of business benefits, and adherence to established project management standards, contributing to the continued development of the project management capability.
Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities
Develop and implement project plans, including defining activities, resources, costs, roles, responsibilities, and quality, following the Project Management Methodology (ADF and SAP Activate).
Run project/program budgets, forecasts, tasks, schedules, risks, organizational change, and status reporting.
Coordinate and lead project workstreams, identify and manage dependencies between projects.
Build and lead a high-performing project team across different business functions and third parties.
Maintain relationships with key business collaborators to gather business requirements and steer project objectives.
Collaborate with internal and external suppliers to ensure delivery of products and services while adhering to project delivery standards.
Implement effective risk, issue, and organizational change processes and ensure benefits realization aligns with project results.
Support the development of a strong project management capability and ensure adoption of standard methodology.
Education, Qualifications and Experience
Demonstrated project and programme management skills, including traditional and agile delivery methods, project controls, governance requirements, budget management, external supplier management, problem solving, and stakeholder management.
5+ years of proven experience as a PM across the entire project lifecycle.
Technical or business degree or equivalent experience.
Experience in leading and developing diverse project teams in a global organization.
Broad understanding of SAP S/4HANA and business technology implementation.
Effective communication and consulting skills to work with a diverse range of partners.
Desirable Experience/Skills:
SAP Activate and S/4HANA experience
Project / Programme Management certifications
Pharmaceutical industry experience and/or experience of delivery in a highly-regulated environment
Lean & Six Sigma Skills
Master’s degree
Experience of collaboration platforms for project delivery – e.g. Jira, PPM tools, testing tools.
