Are you ready to identify challenges and opportunities for healthcare transformation in Ireland? As a Healthcare Development Manager, you will optimize the patient journey through digital solutions or alternative care models, partnering with relevant stakeholders to advance national strategies and improve patient access to treatment. By embracing opportunities that advance outcomes, demonstrating thought leadership, and maintaining a positive environment for AstraZeneca, you will create and track a program of work aligned with key stakeholders, disseminate relevant information, provide detailed reports, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Accountabilities:
- Generate improved patient access aiding the delivery of optimal guidelines implementation at appropriate levels.
- Map and engage key stakeholders to understand their issues and motivations, delivering solutions that create a positive market environment for AstraZeneca.
- Monitor and predict the impact of changes and trends in the healthcare environment on patient access.
- Support local healthcare stakeholders to implement digital and innovative solutions for optimal healthcare utilization.
- Engage internal and external stakeholders to deliver value to HCPs and patients.
- Understand healthcare systems, networks, and pathways to implement strategic solutions.
- Coordinate transforming care partnerships and programs with cross-functional teams.
- Utilize and deploy all AZ resources and skills in conjunction with Medical to accelerate transforming care within selected centers.
- Co-create improved patient pathways to enhance quality of care and value realization.
- Collaborate with BUD to inform of changes, share learnings, and shape solutions.
- Work cross-functionally both internally and externally.
- Develop a deep understanding of local health economies, including key decision-makers on healthcare resource allocation.
- Support the development of a detailed analysis of the patient journey to identify leverage points within the system.
- Engage with upper levels of hospital management to drive engagement and change.
- Provide insights regarding changes to the healthcare environment, feeding into field and head office teams.
Essential Skills/Experience:
- Emotional Intelligence
- Quantifiable Project Management Experience
- Substantial Account Management Experience
- Familiar With Health System Data Infrastructure
- Familiarity with the IPHA Code
- Degree level qualification: Science or Business
- Full driving license
Desirable Skills/Experience:
- Masters Level Qualification
- Demonstrated Irish Healthcare landscape knowledge
