SHE & Security Advisor
Location: Warsaw, hybrid work (at least 3 days from the office per week)
Responsible for various initiatives aimed at promoting and enhancing health, safety, wellbeing, and environmental practices across the organization. The role involves conducting SHE trainings for employees on multiple fields and topics and overseeing the execution of SHE projects and programs with a special attention to sustainability & business resilience.
Typical Accountabilities:
- Deliver OHS training sessions to employees in both Polish and English languages. Prepares needed documents associated with all types of OHS trainings within given timelines.
- Participate and/or develop and implement occupational & other risk assessments; undertake tasks like GEMBA walk to observe and mitigate risks.
- Prepare and maintain Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) & Business Resilience documentation in compliance with company standards.
- Advise and/or lead and report in company system investigations on illness, all types of accidents, and near misses.
- Conduct internal health and safety audits, and provide clear reports on identified issues and opportunities for improvement; Reports data into SHE System (action plans, accidents & near misses, inspections and other)
- Interpret SHE legislation and company procedures to ensure site compliance and contribute to the continuous improvement of SHE performance.
- Perform duties connected with security in the office (e.g. preparation and maintenance of entry cards & other)
- Gather, collate, and evaluate SHE statistics and data, utilizing the AZ SHE System and complying with Polish legislative expectations.
Essential requirements:
- Good command of English - a minimum B2 level of proficiency is required, with a preference for C1 to ensure effective communication and collaboration within the organization, thereby promoting a positive SHE experience and facilitating the successful completion of job responsibilities.
- Higher directional OHS education that is required by Polish law
- Practical knowledge of applicable laws from safety & environmental protection
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant OHS professional experience is required.
