Associate Director, Real World Evidence

We are seeking individuals with expertise in quantitative epidemiology, bioinformatics, health informatics, biomedical data science, clinical pharmacology, biostatistics, or related fields who are eager to delve into the analysis of Real World Evidence (RWE).

Accountabilities:

In the role of Associate Director within our Oncology R&D team, you will leverage Real World Data (RWD) to generate actionable insights for clinical development. Your expertise will guide the transformation of real-world clinical data using statistical and epidemiological methods, alongside innovative data visualizations. You'll ideate new methods and applications of RWE to tackle clinical development challenges and support regulatory interactions using RWD. Essential Skills/Experience:

  • Master's degree + 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience in supporting a multidisciplinary team build a research objective that can be met with RWD
  • Experience in the use and application of RWD to support clinical decision making
  • Health analytics and data mining of routinely collected healthcare data
  • Use of statistical and scripting languages such as R, Python and SQL
  • Clinical trials and recruitment, especially the application of synthetic control arms
  • The application of genomics in clinical care or translational medicine
  • Health economics or epidemiology, and quantitative science such as health outcome modelling

Desirable Skills/Experience:

  • PhD in relevant subject area
  • Data science, machine learning and construction of predictive models
  • Clinical data standards, medical terminologies and healthcare ontologies
  • Work in a patient care or similar setting, that would allow the candidate to bring medical perspective into real-world evidence generation
  • Experience designing and implementing pragmatic clinical trials
  • Knowledge of Oncology and Pharmaceutical development

The annual base pay for this position ranges from $135,457.60 - 203,186.40. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.  In addition, our positions offer a short-term incentive bonus opportunity; eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program (salaried roles), to receive a retirement contribution (hourly roles), and commission payment eligibility (sales roles). Benefits offered included a qualified retirement program [401(k) plan]; paid vacation and holidays; paid leaves; and, health benefits including medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
