Introduction to role:

As a BioResp Specialist Representative on our BioResp Alliance team, you will be instrumental in driving sales growth by developing strategic relationships with key influencers. Your mission will be to improve access to a novel biologic treatment for Severe Asthma patients in Canada. We seek a proactive professional who challenges the status quo and employs innovative strategies to cultivate collaboration and achieve exceptional results.

Accountabilities:

  • Sales Strategy Development: Build and implement effective account strategies and plans that drive sales performance and exceed targets while creatively handling budgets.
  • Effective Selling: Clearly communicate the scientific and clinical benefits of our products to top research and clinical practitioners, applying a multifaceted approach that includes face-to-face and digital interactions.
  • Relationship Building: Cultivate deep relationships with key accounts and influencers by analyzing challenges, exploring options, and identifying innovative solutions, using all available resources to drive sales.
  • Collaboration & Execution: Develop and coordinate impactful speaker programs with physician advocates and KOLs, working closely with the broader Sales, Brand, and Scientific teams to enhance sales efforts.
  • Compliance and Integrity: Ensure alignment with all external regulations and internal policies while maintaining high ethical standards in all sales activities.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and create learning opportunities, enhancing team performance and sales effectiveness.
  • Adverse Events Reporting: Collect and report Adverse Events in accordance with AstraZeneca policies and procedures.

Essential Skills/Experience:

  • University degree in science and/or business.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Biologics, Oncology, or Specialty Pharmaceutical sales with a strong emphasis on key account management.
  • Proven track record of driving sales and positively influencing partners, quickly establishing credibility and building strong business relationships.
  • Experience strategizing and engaging key influencers in complex clinical environments, with demonstrated planning and influencing skills.
  • Proficient in leveraging multiple communication channels (virtual, omni, and face-to-face) to engage key influencers effectively.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and business acumen.
  • A collaborative teammate who enhances team cohesiveness and agility within diverse, cross-functional teams.
  • Valid driver’s license; willingness to travel with overnight stays up to 25% of the time.
  • Fluency (oral and written) in French and English is an asset.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $107,000 to $147,000. However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.  In addition, our positions offer a short-term incentive bonus opportunity as well as eligibility to participate in our long-term incentive program (if applicable to role).  Benefits offered include a competitive Flex Benefits & Retirement Savings Program, 4 weeks’ paid vacation, annual Personal Days, a variety of wellness-related leaves (paid and unpaid) as well as a Company-wide holiday shut-down between Christmas and New Years.
