Accountabilities:
As a Senior Consultant in Knowledge Graph and Semantic Engineering, you will design and develop ontologies, semantic models, and property graphs representing key business concepts in manufacturing and supply chain. You will define reusable graph patterns, apply standard methodologies in knowledge graph modeling, and develop SPARQL and Cypher queries for integrating, retrieving, and validating semantic data. You will support the integration of structured and unstructured data using semantic modeling and graph-based approaches. Collaborate with stakeholders to define business-driven semantic use cases and technical requirements, maintain delivery backlogs, oversee implementation plans, and ensure alignment with business priorities. Partner with product owners, data engineers, and architects to drive adoption of semantic technologies across functions. Deliver training, guidance, and documentation to upskill team members and stake \holders on semantic technologies. Stay ahead of on developments in semantic web, property graphs, linked data, and graph-based AI/ML.
Essential Skills/Experience:
Hands-on experience with Neo4j and Cypher query development.
Solid grounding in RDF, OWL, SHACL, SPARQL, and semantic modeling standard methodologies.
Strong proficiency in Python (or an equivalent language) for automation, data transformation, and pipeline integration.
Demonstrated ability to define use cases, structure delivery backlogs, and manage technical execution.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with a delivery-focused mindset.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
Desirable Skills/Experience:
Experience with additional graph platforms such as GraphDB, Stardog, or Amazon Neptune.
Familiarity with Cognite Data Fusion, IoT/industrial data integration, or other large-scale operational data platforms.
Understanding of knowledge representation techniques and reasoning systems.
Exposure to AI/ML approaches using graphs or semantic features.
Knowledge of tools such as Protégé, TopBraid Composer, or VocBench.
Familiarity with metadata standards, data governance, and FAIR principles.
