Introduction to the role:
We are seeking for an exceptional S/4HANA Senior Project Manager who will play a critical role in this transformation. Leading a global team of experts, you will collaborate directly with the Axial Leadership Team to manage and deliver key projects. Your ability to operationalize strategies, manage project lifecycles, and ensure timely delivery will be essential in this high-impact role.
Typical Accountabilities:
- Coordinate with leadership and stakeholders to realize and deliver strategic objectives across multiple Axial projects.
- Build and lead a high-performing project team across different business functions and third parties.
- Guide projects from initiation to completion, ensuring effective risk management and on-time delivery.
- Lead high-performing cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
- Drive projects related to Procurement and Material Management.
- Implementation of project delivery methodology, leading a global team of subject matter experts, and seeking project sign-off at regular control boards.
- Collaborate with internal and external suppliers to ensure delivery of products and services while adhering to project delivery standards.
- Support the development of a strong project management capability and ensure adoption of standard methodology.
Essential Skills/Experience:
- Significant experience (5+ years) in project management with a strong track record in leading complex SAP S/4HANA projects.
- Experience in Procurement and Material Management is highly desirable.
- Expert in both traditional and agile delivery methods; familiarity with SAP Activate methodology.
- Broad understanding of SAP S/4HANA and related technologies in a business context.
- Experience working within a global organization with diverse and geographically dispersed teams.
- Strong communication skills, partner management, focus on delivery and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage and control budget and to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable Experience/Skills:
- Project/Programme Management certifications.
- Pharmaceutical industry experience.
- Experience in agile delivery and SAP Activate methodology.
- Lean & Six Sigma skills.
