Introduction to role

This Analyst – AEM Digital Asset Management Librarian role sits at the heart of how AstraZeneca’s commercial content is organized, governed, and reused across global markets. Working within a specialist operations team, the role focuses on curating and leading a library of digital assets in the Content Centre (CC) DAM portal, ensuring that brand materials are easy to find, compliant, and ready for localization. The position combines hands-on work in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), close collaboration with brand and content delivery teams, and a continuous drive to improve how content flows through our ecosystem. Accountabilities

Act as a critical team member responsible for the end-to-end execution of organizing, verifying, storing, and cataloguing digital assets in the Content Centre (CC) DAM platform, so they are ready for viewing, download, localization, and reuse by AstraZeneca local markets.

Coordinate with Brand teams, agencies, and internal collaborators to ensure completeness and accuracy of metadata, source files, and related documentation before assets are published.

Work closely with global and regional content delivery managers and other contributors to coordinate and maintain content in CC. Do this according to the expectations of collaborators, evolving processes, and content reuse strategies.

Collaborate with global and regional content delivery managers and other collaborators to provision new portals or update existing portals within CC as business needs change.

Ensure high quality and consistency of digital assets within the CC DAM platform by governing taxonomy, metadata, and other standards in alignment with regulatory guidelines.

Conduct regular cleanup and hygiene activities within the CC DAM platform to remove outdated content, resolve duplicates, and optimize asset organization.

Perform quality checks on all proposed content for the Content Hub, validating compliance with standards and readiness for reuse.

Help maintain clear SOPs and process documentation, monitoring for optimization and automation opportunities that streamline workflows.

Provide support to users who need access to digital assets, including delivering training on CC systems and troubleshooting issues to keep teams productive.

Stay current on features and updates in the CC platform and actively propose improvements and future enhancements aligned with stakeholder feedback and overall content reuse strategy.

Essential Skills/Experience

  • 4 to 6 years of work experience in operations, with direct experience in content management, content workflows and digital asset management (DAM)
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) in DAM functionalities
  • Very strong project management skills, with expertise in handling multiple projects concurrently while keeping leaders and collaborators appropriately informed
  • Ability to influence without authority and drive adoption/compliance

  • Ability to bring and support any AI related initiatives with respect to Content Centre
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey information and tailor communications based on the audience

Desirable Skills/Experience

  • Experience with Veeva Vault
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry

  • Familiarity with platforms (JIRA, Adobe Creative Cloud)
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

  • Experience in driving continuous process improvements and process automations
  • Experience in working with stakeholders in multiple geographies
