As the Associate Director, Global TA Finance Business Partner, you will be a key leader within the finance team and play a pivotal role in every aspect of the business and channeling our commercial and financial capabilities to make a positive impact on changing patients’ lives. Reporting to the VP, Global Head of Finance Commercial, this opportunity will provide high quality and impactful financial leadership to the Neurology Global Leadership Team. This role will be pivotal in ensuring that financial performance, discipline and budget control is achieved.

What you'll do

  • Business Partnering with the Global TA Head (Neurology) and members of the Global Marketing and Market Access (GMMA) Leadership Team.

  • Collaborate with senior global stakeholders to deliver a coherent strategy to the Senior Executive Team and providing a clear view of priorities and resource allocation to drive revenue growth and maximize profitability at the TA businesses level.

  • Lead franchise level global performance tracking, insights and analytics monthly in collaboration with global and regional partners.

  • Engage with R&D Finance ahead of investment decisions and TA strategy to better understand the assumptions and value of Ph3 investment decisions and propose new opportunities, highlighting any TA value implications.

  • Provide finance leadership to the Neurology TA Team in delivering a TA strategy to SET, ensuring a comprehensive view of the prioritization, resource allocation, and overall ambition of the TA.

  • Lead the Neurology TA Team in developing both the Long-Term Plan (LTP) and Middle Term Plan (MTP) strategic forecasts, ensuring a strong focus on driving revenue growth and optimizing resource allocation at the brand/indication and regional/market levels to maximize impact and deliver measurable results.

  • Lead the Quarterly Business Review (QBR) process for the TA.

  • Working cross-functionally and ensuring key Investor Relations questions and discussion points are anticipated and answered.

  • Understanding, managing, and influencing the TA/brand P&L and performance against budget and support with optimal resource allocation across products/indications and markets.

Essential for the role

  • Bachelors degree

  • Pharmaceutical finance experience

  • Outstanding commercial competence, underpinned by robust analytical skills and creative thinking.

  • An enterprise mentality and strong understanding of the key commercial drivers of a business.

  • A strategic focus but able to work at a detailed level.

  • Executive presence with well-developed business partnering skills, including the ability to influence at the most senior levels.

  • Proven career progression in global companies with experience of working across different geographical regions.

  • Ability to handle ambiguity and thrive in unchartered territory.

  • A team player with strong interpersonal skills, in particular effective verbal, and written communications skills.

  • Future looking and curious

Desirable for the role

  • Bachelors degree in business, finance, economics, engineering, or accounting

  • Advanced degree in a scientific field and/or MBA

  • Pharmaceutical commercial finance experience

Office Working Requirements

The annual base pay (or hourly rate of compensation) for this position ranges from $144,560.80 - 216,841.20 USD as an annual base salary. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.  In addition, our positions offer a short-term incentive bonus opportunity; eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program (salaried roles), to receive a retirement contribution (hourly roles), and commission payment eligibility (sales roles). Benefits offered included a qualified retirement program [401(k) plan]; paid vacation and holidays; paid leaves; and, health benefits including medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
