Are you ready to lead the charge in transforming marketing technology? As a Senior System Engineer within IT RDU, you'll be at the forefront of implementing, integrating, and migrating enterprise MarTech platforms. Your expertise will shine as you bring to bear AI technology, particularly with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) and Salesforce Data Cloud. Specializing in email delivery, journey orchestration, and campaign optimization, you'll partner with product, CRM, data, and compliance teams to drive measurable engagement outcomes.
Accountabilities
Lead implementations, integrations, and migrations of SFMC and Salesforce Data Cloud, ensuring resilient architecture and minimal downtime.
Design and implement integrations between Salesforce platforms and enterprise data sources, maintaining data fidelity and performance.
Build and maintain enterprise-grade email, journey, and automation assets with reusable patterns and standardized governance.
Develop segmentation strategies using SQL and audience modeling for high-precision targeting and personalization.
Integrate MarTech platforms with CRM, consent, and data systems via APIs, event streams, and ETL.
Define naming conventions, version control, and deployment standards; manage promotion pipelines.
Execute migration programs including discovery, mapping, asset rationalization, and user enablement.
Embed AI across MarTech workflows for predictive segmentation and operations.
Establish monitoring for campaign health and drive root-cause analysis for incidents.
Implement consent capture validation and data privacy controls.
Partner with cross-functional teams to plan roadmaps and deliver continuous improvements.
Develop user documentation and deliver training on guidelines.
Drive optimization of email performance through experiments and AI-driven insights.
Essential Skills/Experience
- Deep expertise with marketing automation platforms and capabilities, including email studios, journey builders, and automation/orchestration tooling.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and audience segmentation; experience with ETL/ELT and API integrations.
- Hands-on experience with implementation, integration, and large-scale migration projects, including planning, execution, and guiding transitions.
- Demonstrated application of AI/ML in MarTech use cases (predictive scoring, STO, content recommendations, anomaly detection, QA automation).
- Solid understanding of deliverability, sender reputation, and campaign performance metrics; ability to diagnose and remediate issues end to end.
- Knowledge of consent and privacy frameworks and their technical enforcement in MarTech/CRM ecosystems.
- Proficient in CI/CD, version control, and release management for MarTech assets; familiar with package-based deployments and environment promotion.
Desirable Skills/Experience
Strong stakeholder management, communication, and project leadership; capable of translating business requirements into resilient technical designs.
Analytical mindset with experience in A/B testing, multivariate testing, and optimization frameworks.
