Are you ready to lead and innovate in the realm of clinical data standards? As the Associate Director of Clinical Standards, you will spearhead a team of developers, driving the delivery of study metadata and standards metadata within the Clinical Metadata Repository (ryze). This pivotal role demands exceptional stakeholder management and collaboration skills, as you work alongside cross-functional and cross-Therapy Area stakeholders to ensure adherence to industry and company standards methodologies. As a recognized expert, you'll be the go-to person for queries, mentor staff, and lead initiatives that push the boundaries of standards development.
Accountabilities
- Lead clinical data standards developers
- Serve as a technical subject matter expert in specialized areas of clinical data standards
- Manage activities of external partners
- Ensure quality of deliverables and oversee standards deliverables from other developers
- Drive standards development and implementation within the business
- Contribute to recruiting, training, and mentoring within the function
- Show leadership and operational expertise in planning and delivering clinical data standards
- Represent Clinical Data standards at cross-functional forums and meetings, providing timely feedback to partners
- Contribute to external industry standards and governance groups
- Provide input to standards strategy and lead implementation to meet evolving internal and external landscapes
- Manage standards governance and proven strategies
Essential Skills/Experience
- BSc in Information Sciences, Mathematical, Statistical, Computer Science or Life Science or equivalent experience.
- Expertise in specialized standards development skills (e.g., raw)
Desirable Skills/Experience
- Understanding of programming languages (e.g., SAS, R, Java, Groovy, Spotfire, C/C++, VBA/VBS, .NET, Python, Pearl)
