Manager - Tagging & Web Analytics
About the Role
The Manager - Tagging & Web Analytics plays an integral role in ensuring the GCS Tagging & Web Analytics team supports the Digital Marketing & Measurement plans of the market & brand teams, by implementing industry standard, high quality Web Analytics (Adobe Analytics), Remarketing and Data Collection Tags & solution on all of AZ’s websites. This person will be involved in the End-to-End process from understanding the business requirement, solution design, implementation, QA, maintaining and auditing of website tags.
GCS and business stakeholders have high expectations for quality and efficiency. As such, this person must be adept at managing multiple (and sometimes competing) priorities, while ensuring quality and timely deliverables for our end customers.
Role and Responsibilities
Work with a team of Tagging Engineers, based out of Guadalajara, Mexico responsible for implementation of Digital Measurement & Data collection strategies across AZ brand team's Multi &Omnichannel Marketing Projects in primarily US PODs partnering with the Indian counterpart.
Accountable for delivering an industry standard, high quality Web Analytics (Adobe Analytics), Remarketing and Data Collection Tags & solution on all of AZ’s commercial websites.
In charge of managing demand, prioritizing deliverables
Serve as the main point of contact for all Tagging data quality issues & data anomaly incidents.
Ensure proper RCA is performed on all the raised data quality incidents and make sure the results of the analysis are communicated to all relevant stakeholders.
Work along with Strategic Leads to improve the service/capability offerings & Process.
Collaborate across various teams like Site Development, Tealium Development, Reporting, etc. to improve the overall Tagging & Data quality process.
On top of running the day-to-day operations, responsible for Team Management, People Development & Operational Excellence.
Support in providing the necessary data for Operational Governance Reports like OGR, CUBE, etc.
Handle customer requests at various stages of development, testing and launch of websites.
Drive Continuous process improvements and automation initiatives
Essential Skills and experience
8+ years of relative experience in Digital Marketing, Analytics & Measurement field
High level of technical expertise on Adobe Analytics and Tealium IQ
Deep technical competence and experience with Front-End Engineering (JavaScript / Ajax / jQuery, HTML/CSS)
Superb Communication & Collaborator management, along with problem solving & decision-making skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey technical and complex concepts and to tailor communications based on the audience.
Knowledge of JIRA, Smartsheet & similar project management tools
Experience in driving continuous process improvements and process automations.
Experience in managing a team of direct reports.
Ability to govern and hold accountability for third party vendors & media partners
