Digital Compliance Analyst

As a Digital Compliance Analyst, you’ll safeguard AstraZeneca’s customer‑facing digital assets—websites, mobile apps, and social media—by monitoring risks, driving governance, and partnering across global teams to embed compliance into how we design, launch, and operate digital experiences.

What you’ll do

  • Drive digital governance and compliance: Ensure websites, apps, and social channels adhere to global standards, policies, and external regulatory requirements across markets.
  • Partner to identify and remediate risks: Collaborate with global and local stakeholders to prioritize and resolve out‑of‑compliance items across all customer‑facing digital assets.
  • Advance processes and continuous improvement: Support enhancements with Digital Compliance Services Specialists to strengthen operations and embed best practices.
  • Contribute to global digital assurance: Support service expansion, operational excellence, and fulfillment of compliance‑related SLAs within our growing digital ecosystem.
  • Maintain governance tools and data: Manage core repositories, including the global digital catalogue and compliance tracking for campaigns and operational processes.
  • Build capability and awareness: Deliver training, guidance, and communications to markets and brand teams to promote responsible digital asset management.
  • Enable smooth delivery: Support customers, asset owners, and external suppliers; ensure timely issue resolution and appropriate risk escalation.

You bring an analytical mindset, attention to detail, and a drive for continuous improvement.

Essential qualifications and skills

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, science, engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven track record delivering global projects and developing pragmatic solutions.
  • Digital literacy: Basic understanding of externally facing digital assets (websites, mobile applications, social media).
  • Collaboration and influence: Strong interpersonal skills to work with marketing, IT, regional leads, asset owners, and external suppliers; able to provide clear guidance and influence compliance adoption.
  • Data and analytics: Proven ability to work with data repositories; analytical and continuous improvement mindset.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.
  • Tools: Proficiency with the Microsoft suite.

Desirable qualifications

  • Industry exposure: Experience in pharmaceutical sales, marketing operations/Commercial IT platforms, risk management, and/or business performance management.
  • Regulatory knowledge: Understanding of pharmaceutical industry regulations and standards in the digital space.
  • Technical depth: Solid understanding of technical aspects of digital media and communication.
  • Creative tools: Experience with Adobe Suite or similar.

Where you’ll collaborate

You’ll work closely with colleagues across Global Compliance Specialist functions, Global Legal, Global Finance, Global Privacy, Global Commercial IT, Marketing teams, Cybersecurity, and Patient Safety, as well as with third‑party vendors and project managers to deliver compliant, high‑quality digital outcomes.
