Change Enablement & Adoption Manager

Plats Zapopan, Jalisco, Mexico Jobb-id R-255216 Datum inlagd 06/25/2026

Are you ready to turn complex, global change into measurable adoption that accelerates our mission to deliver life-changing medicines? Do you thrive on bringing clarity and momentum to ambiguous situations, using data and storytelling to move leaders and teams from awareness to action?

In this role, you will shape and drive adoption for high-impact technology, process and operating model changes that enable our shift to a digital and data-led enterprise. You will partner across global programmes and functions to define the case for change, orchestrate a fit-for-purpose strategy, and deliver the behaviours, skills and mindsets that make change stick. From early shaping and impact assessment to go-live and sustainment, you will connect change to outcomes that matter for our people, business and patients.

You will also play a key role in evolving our Change Management Centre of Excellence—strengthening community, tooling and capability so we scale impact beyond a single initiative. Note: this role focuses on organisational change and adoption, not ITIL/ITSM change control (CAB).

Accountabilities
  • End-to-end change leadership: Lead change from purpose and sponsor alignment through implementation, stabilisation and reinforcement to ensure sustained adoption and benefits.
  • Fit-for-purpose methodology: Select, tailor and blend leading change frameworks (e.g., ADKAR, Kotter, Lean Change, Bridges, Lewin, McKinsey 7S) and translate them into pragmatic plans and actions suited to the context.
  • Change strategy and integrated planning: Define and deliver change management and communications strategies that drive engagement, adoption and consumption of process, organisational and technology changes.
  • Executive sponsorship and governance: Build sponsor coalitions, coach senior sponsors, and provide executive-ready updates, recommendations and decision support; establish governance rhythms and leadership alignment.
  • Stakeholder and resistance management: Conduct stakeholder analysis, change impact and readiness assessments, diagnose resistance, and implement targeted mitigations to remove barriers to adoption.
  • Adoption and value measurement: Define and track success measures such as adoption and usage, time-to-proficiency, readiness and sentiment insights, and benefit enablement indicators; establish feedback loops and corrective actions.
  • Portfolio awareness and change saturation: Identify cross-initiative dependencies and change fatigue risks; recommend sequencing, pacing and reinforcement to protect capacity and outcomes across the portfolio.
  • Consulting partnership across the enterprise: Provide discovery, recommendations and hands-on support to colleagues at all levels and geographies to embed change into delivery and operations.
  • Enablement and capability uplift: Train, coach and facilitate in both face-to-face and virtual settings to build change capability across teams and leaders.
  • CoE build and scale: Grow the Change Management Community of Practice by planning and facilitating engaging, informative and collaborative community meetings.
  • Reusable assets and knowledge management: Develop and maintain change tools, templates, guidance, resources and intranet content to enable consistent, scalable delivery.
  • High-quality communications: Deliver clear, compelling communications that win hearts and minds, combining design, creativity and storytelling; ensure messaging is culturally appropriate for global audiences.
  • Mentoring and coaching: Mentor and coach teams and individuals in good change management practices to build internal expertise and community capability.

Essential Skills/Experience
  • Deep OCM expertise: Significant experience (typically 5+ years) delivering successful, complex change initiatives end-to-end in global/matrix environments.
  • Methodology agility and autonomy: Demonstrated ability to design your own approach and tailor change frameworks to context, including selecting the right levers for adoption and sustainment.
  • Senior stakeholder mastery: Strong track record influencing and managing VP/C-suite-level stakeholders, including sponsor coaching and facilitation of leadership alignment.
  • Excellent English: Outstanding written and verbal English skills, with the ability to produce executive-ready narratives, communications and presentations.
  • Strategy-to-execution strength: Ability to set change strategy, translate it into actionable plans, and lead execution across multiple workstreams and teams.
  • Facilitation and consulting: Highly skilled in facilitation, discovery, workshop design, and advisory/consulting engagement models.
  • Data-driven measurement: Experience defining and using adoption and change metrics to guide decisions and adjust interventions.
  • Communication and storytelling: Strong ability to translate technical information into clear business language aligned to AZ priorities and outcomes.
  • Operating in ambiguity: Comfortable thriving in uncertainty, iterating based on feedback, and bringing structure without over-bureaucratising.
  • Global mindset: Strong cultural awareness and experience adapting approaches for different regions, working styles and time zones.
  • AI and innovation mindset: Basic understanding of AI concepts, with the ability to identify and leverage opportunities where AI can enhance user experience, improve processes and increase team effectiveness.

Desirable Skills/Experience

  • Formal change certification: Prosci (ADKAR) and/or CCMP (ACMP) certification preferred; other recognised change qualifications welcomed.
  • Project/programme delivery alignment: Strong delivery discipline and experience partnering with programme/project managers, product teams and external partners to integrate change into delivery plans.
  • Global organisation experience: Experience working in a global organisation with complex geographical context.
  • Pharmaceutical/IT exposure: Pharmaceutical IT experience.
  • Agile/Lean ways of working: Experience applying change in Agile, product-led or Lean environments (including experimentation and iterative landing of change).
