U.S. Forecasting Leader, CVRM

In this highly visible role, you will lead Global and US forecasting for a priority business, translating data, insights, and scenarios into projections that guide lifecycle planning, investment choices, and commercial performance.
You will operate at the intersection of growth, launch readiness, and access strategy, partnering across Finance, Market Access, Insights, Data Analytics, and Commercial teams. This is a fast-moving environment that blends scientific rigor with commercial acumen—where disciplined scenario thinking and strong business judgment help the organization act with confidence at pace.
You will own the forecast narrative end to end—from model design and governance to scenario planning and communication of implications—while modernizing capabilities through digital tools and selective AI-enabled methods. Accountabilities:
Forecast Leadership: Lead forecasting across Global and US markets to deliver timely, accurate, and decision-ready revenue and patient-based projections that support performance today and growth tomorrow.
Scenario Design and Assumptions: Develop and maintain assumptions, scenarios, sensitivities, and driver-based models that reflect market events, competitive dynamics, and strategic choices; make implications clear and actionable.
Enterprise Planning Support: Anchor annual planning, long-range planning, and quarterly business updates with robust forecasts that inform resource allocation and risk mitigation.
Cross-Functional Partnership: Work closely with Finance, Market Access, Insights, Data Analytics, Commercial, and strategy leaders to align on inputs, risks, opportunities, and business impacts, ensuring a shared forecast view.
Insight Integration and Decision Support: Integrate market research, analytics, and business intelligence into forecasts; lead scenario planning to guide investment decisions and prepare the organization for future opportunities.
Communication and Influence: Present forecasts, risks, and recommendations clearly to senior stakeholders; connect forecast outputs to strategic, commercial, market access, and financial decisions to enable confident action.
Capability Building and Modernization: Continuously improve forecasting approaches, tools, and governance; selectively adopt AI-enabled methods and automation where they increase efficiency, insight generation, and decision quality.
Essential Skills/Experience:
7+ years experience in forecasting, business planning, market modeling, or related strategic decision-support roles.
Strong experience leading forecasts in complex business environments, including scenario planning, sensitivity analysis, and assumption development.
Experience supporting both established businesses and pipeline, launch, or lifecycle activities is strongly preferred.
Experience supporting Global and US business planning and decision-making is strongly preferred.
Demonstrated ability to connect forecast outputs to strategic, commercial, market access, and financial decisions and communicate implications clearly to senior stakeholders.
Strong business acumen, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to synthesize multiple data sources into clear assumptions, forecast narratives, and actionable recommendations.
Collaborative leadership style with the ability to work effectively across a matrixed organization, including close partnership with Finance, Market Access, Insights, Data Analytics, and Commercial teams.
Comfort with digital tools, advanced analytics, and emerging AI applications that can strengthen forecasting efficiency, insight generation, and decision quality.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, economics, statistics, life sciences, finance, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA, PhD) a plus.
Occasional travel may be required.
Desirable Skills/Experience:
Experience building patient-based models alongside revenue projections for launches, LOE planning, and lifecycle transitions.
Background in pharmaceutical or biotech forecasting, ideally in specialty care or oncology.
Familiarity with payer dynamics, access drivers, and integration of Market Access data into forecasting.
Proven track record implementing digital tools, automation, and AI-enabled approaches within forecasting processes.
Experience presenting to executive committees and leading cross-functional forecast alignment sessions.
Experience mentoring analysts or managing small forecasting teams; ability to build capability and standards.
Advanced degree (MBA, PhD) preferred.
