The Marketing Director will play a pivotal role in channeling our scientific capabilities to make a positive impact on changing patients’ lives with hyperkalemia. This role is responsible for leading the definition, design, execution and measurement of brand strategy across both HCP & NPP segments. This position involves working across all customer segments and collaborating with Global Brand Teams, Insights & Analytics, Market Access, Medical, Commercial Operations, and Sales teams to improve brand performance. This role will report to the Sr. Director of Marketing of the brand.
What you’ll do:
Lead the strategic direction and marketing execution for the brand.
Responsible for leading the creation of an integrated channel marketing strategy for the disease state and brand
Lead the cross-functional Brand Working Group to advance key achievements and projects and ensure collaborator alignment.
Produce detailed strategic and operational commercial plans that align with brand strategy.
Collaborate and pull through the strategic direction, design, execution and measurement of all marketing strategies, tactics and activities to deliver product objectives.
Responsible for collaborating and driving the following key work: marketing strategies (BSP), brand positioning, core messaging and campaign, new markets/channel development, sales integration, sales execution and ROI analysis.
Lead marketing relationships with agencies, vendor partners, consultants, and other third-party groups.
Collaborate with Insights and Analytics team to identify and drive actionable insights, and performance trends.
Collaborate with other functional areas to ensure future promotional planning is consistent with legal/regulatory compliance.
Build and nurture long-term relationships with key opinion leaders, and customer advocacy groups.
Essential Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, ideally with a background in business, marketing, or the sciences.
5 years experience in pharmaceutical marketing and promotions.
Hands-on experience in healthcare professional (HCP) marketing.
Demonstrated ability to lead and implement brand strategies.
Consistent track record of achieving or exceeding strategic and operational goals in a therapeutic or business setting.
Proven success working collaboratively across cross-functional business units.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Evidence of strong learning agility.
Ability to navigate and lead effectively in situations of ambiguity.
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced degree preferred.
Shown success in leading change and transformation initiatives.
Experience in implementing cross-channel and cross-customer marketing strategies.
Marketing background in the Cardiovascular, Renal, and Metabolic therapeutic area, with an emphasis on hypertension strongly preferred.
Market Access and Managed Markets experience, with robust knowledge of local healthcare pricing and reimbursement systems.
Background in insights and market research.
