TheBiopharmaceuticalsBusiness Unit (BBU) creates and executes meaningful therapeutic area and product strategies that are focused on addressing the unmet needs of patients around the world. AsBrand Manager, Respiratory Biologicsin Wilmington, DE,you’llplay a pivotal role in channeling our scientific capabilities to make a positive impact on changing patients’ lives.This roleis responsible forworking with Brand Leadership and across global and partner collaboration teams to develop,executeand measure aspects of the brand strategy. This role is specifically focused on,but not limited to,Direct-to-Consumer Marketing–Campaign development,Omni-channel execution,and PatientSupportProgram development.To be successful in this role you will need to be able to implement channel strategies to deliver on the brand’sobjectives.
Whatyou’lldo
Work onthe development and executionofthe brand’screative campaign across all promotional channels
Partner with Business Insight team to develop customer insight plans, success metrics and analyze performance of programs
Partner with the team onongoing optimization ofconsumer messaging bychannel and creative to ensureoptimalcommunications andperformance
Lead agencies in development of brand creative,messagingand execution
Collaborate withinternal and externalpartners to design andfacilitatethe brand's promotional plan, ensure consistency with brand strategy and other functional area priorities and lead review process to ensure legal/regulatory compliance and medical accuracy of all marketing materials.
Participate in annual operational planning process by shaping tactical plans and budgetsrequiredto achieve the brand's strategic objectives
Work with corporate affairs and advocacy partners to develop patient-centric programs
Assistwithmonthly financial updates with agenciesassociated with brand marketing activities
Manage regulatory and legal review and approval process forassignedtactics and promotional assets
Essential for the role:
Bachelor’s Degreein Business, Marketing or in the sciences
Demonstrated ability to lead without authority
Ability to manage complex projects
Ability to gauge the feasibility,impactand risks of proposed programs
Comfortoperatingin a highly regulated environment and industry
Strong communicationand interpersonal skills
3+years of pharmaceutical or healthcare related experience
Field sales,Respiratory or Biologics therapeutic-area experience
Desirable for the role
2+ years prioragency experience
2+ years marketing experience
Media planning/buying experience
Prior Respiratory or Biologics area experience
Advanced Degree in Business, Marketing, or Science
Understanding of US healthcare system pricing and reimbursement
