About the program
The Working in Science Internship Program is designed for last year's students and recent graduates who want to apply what they’ve learned in a real, global biotechnology environment. You’ll contribute to meaningful projects, gain mentorship, and develop skills that set you up for future success.

The team helps optimize how we work by applying deep expertise in CTA/IND submissions and product maintenance. We flexibly support the Late R&I portfolio across different regions and time zones. With strong know-how in processes, systems, and procedures, we deliver regulatory activities at scale - efficiently and to a high standard. By staying flexible, working efficiently, and maintaining strong compliance, we help ensure timely regulatory activities that support faster delivery of new therapies worldwide.

• Proficient verbal and written English;

• Proficient in using MS Office such as WORD, EXCEL, POWERPOINT

• Preferably bachelor degree in Life Sciences such as biology, chemistry, biochemistry, pharmacy

Required skills:

• Good written and verbal communication skills;

• Desired project management skills;

• Aptitude to learn new systems quickly;

• Cultural awareness;

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team 

​Key details

• Eligibility: Final year students and recent graduates. Please review the specific requirements for each role.

• Duration: 3 months, starting in July.

• Working model: Hybrid, with partial on‑site presence.

• Selection process: Application review against objective criteria, HireVue video responses, then a remote meeting with the recruiting team.

• Timeline: Apply by 21 March 2026. Results by mid-April.

Important information

• Completion of the internship does not guarantee contract extension or further employment at AstraZeneca. Future opportunities may be advertised separately and require a new application.
