About the program
The Working in Science Internship Program is designed for last year's students and recent graduates who want to apply what they’ve learned in a real, global biotechnology environment. You’ll contribute to meaningful projects, gain mentorship, and develop skills that set you up for future success.
Patient Communication team enables AstraZeneca R&D delivery of materials to clinical trial participants in an easy-to-understand format, thus fulfilling requlatory requirements and AstraZeneca public commitments.
The Patient Communication team supports all clinical trials and leads a global program focused on creating and dissemination of such materials as the Thank you cards, Unblinding Cards, Trial Results Summaries, and Lay Summaries of Protocol Synopsis. We actively support clinical teams in these activities, work with US-based partner that delivers end-to-end process for AZ. CTT PE Manager tasks are mostly operational and project, vendor, document management.
General requirements:
- Preferred educational background in Life science
- Proficiency in English,
- Project management skills,
- Proven organizational skills, and attention to details;
- Good collaboration, interpersonal skills and teamwork;
- Willingness to learn new tools and processes.
Key details
- Eligibility: Final year students and recent graduates. Please review the specific requirements for each role.
- Duration: 3 months, starting in July.
- Working model: Hybrid, with partial on‑site presence.
- Selection process: Application review against objective criteria, HireVue video responses, then a remote meeting with the recruiting team.
- Timeline: Apply by 21 March 2026. Results by mid-April.
Important information
Completion of the internship does not guarantee contract extension or further employment at AstraZeneca. Future opportunities may be advertised separately and require a new application.
