Senior Scientist
We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilledSenior Scientist with a history of scientific excellence ininvivo pharmacology to join our Oncology Small Molecules team in Waltham MA USA. As a Senior Scientist, you will be a technical leader delivering in vivo pharmacology data to support our oncology small molecules' portfolio, with a focus on drugs targeting solid tumor indications including Breast, Prostate, Lung and Colorectal cancers.

Key Responsibilities:
Apply invivo techniques to advance our oncology pipeline by:
Working hands-on in the lab developing and working with various in vivo models of cancer including subcutaneous and orthotopic xenograft models and Patient Derived Xenograft models.
Designing and performing in vivo pharmacology studies (tolerability, PKPD, and efficacy) and delivering comprehensive high-qualityin vivo pharmacology data packages to support early and late-stage drug discovery programs.
Profiling tissue samplesex vivo to explore mechanisms of drug response and resistance using both traditional and novel approaches.
Working collaboratively andcross functionally to develop and implement work plans and timelines.
Working with IT programs, artificial intelligence, and databases to record all study data for broad access by project teams and partners.
Essential Rquirements:

BSin biology, pharmacology, or related field with a minimum of 6+ years, or MS with 4+ years,of hands-on in vivo experience.
Advancedpractical in vivo skills in the use of mouse models, as well as ex vivo analysis of mouse tissues.
Ability to learn and apply new techniques and establish new disease models.
Ability to work both independently as well as within project teams and across subject areas.
Exceptional communication, listening and organizational skills. Ability to analyze, organize and present data to a diverse audience.
Understanding statistical methods and quality control of data with the use of GraphPad Prism, Microsoft Office, and in vivo data capturing systems such as Study Log.
Desired Requirements:
PhD with a minimum of 4+ yearsof hands-onin vivo experience.
Industry experience in technical in vivo delivery to advance drug discovery/development.
Experience measuring biomarkers and usingex vivo techniques such as IHC, Western blot, ELISA, Fluidigm, MSD-based platforms.

The annual base pay (or hourly rate of compensation) for this position ranges from $108,473.60 - $162,710.40 USD Annual. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition, our positions offer a short-term incentive bonus opportunity; eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program (salaried roles), to receive a retirement contribution (hourly roles), and commission payment eligibility (sales roles). Benefits offered included a qualified retirement program [401(k) plan]; paid vacation and holidays; paid leaves; and, health benefits including medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans.
