【Alexion Japan】Manager, Finance Controlling

This is what you will do:

• This position is responsible for leading accounting close process, policy (J GAAP & IFRS), tax filing (Corporate Tax & Consumption Tax), reimbursement and supporting system implementation or update.
• This individual needs to possess project management skills, attention to details and an ability to adhere to deadlines, self-motivated, analytical and able to make well-reasoned presentations. Great communication skills to interact with various key stakeholders are also required.

You will be responsible for:

• Owner to monthly & yearly closing timeline and deliverables.
• Responsible for preparation of Japan Consumption Tax return, Business Premise Tax return, and Annual Statutory Report.
• Responsible for cash management, mainly reimbursement.
• Support for SOX testing.
• Support and Standardize system development and implementation.
• Communicate with Japan FP&A, other department, overseas AZ and Alexion peers(Global Tax, Global Accounting, Shared Service Center, etc), bank, and tax office.

You will need to have:

• More than 7 years of experience in accounting  (IFRS or US GAAP and J GAAP),Tax filing and treasury management.
• Professional level in SAP FI/CO and prominent PC skill in MS Office (Excel is a must).
• Bilingual (Japanese and English).
• Abilities for self-starter, problem-solving, result-oriented, timely decision making, process management and good communication skills are key competencies.

We would prefer for you to have:

• Experience in foreign affiliated pharmaceutical company is a plus.
• Experience in Hyperion, Concur, COUPA, Blackline, and Web banking system is a plus.

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree, CPA, Tax accountant or MBA is a plus.
