What you’ll do
We are currently looking for a Key Institution Medical Specialist to join the Respiratory team to continue and build on the team’s success.
As Key Institution Medical Specialist, you will have principal function of calling upon specialist physicians and retail pharmacies. Technical expert of specific company products, therapeutic classes or patient needs. Typically establishes long-term relationships with key customers.
Reporting to the Area Manager/First Line Sales Manager
Job Accountabilities
Engagespecialists healthcare professionals in dialogue about approved indications and product efficacy/safety profiles to support on-label prescribing for appropriate patients.
BuildhighCVRMdisease, patient journey, market and product expertise in assigned therapeutic area
Work with Sales Manager to develop a local territory specific strategy and business plan to meet or exceed sales targets and call execution goals in territory
Ensure strong link between calls and speaker-led objectives (virtual/F2F) to the goal agreed upon with sales manager
Drive sales performance and ensure sales forecasts targets and assigned budgets meet or exceed therapeutic and territory expectations.
Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of market, demographic, and managed markets information relative to assigned sales territory.
Effectively map out, engage and develop stakeholder adoption in assigned key territories/hospitals
Develop key account plans that maximizes identified opportunities to expand and drive business
Collaborates effectively with internal cross functional team to achieve specific account objectives
Comply with all regulations regarding interactions with healthcare professionals, distribution of samples, etc.
Takes an active role in task forces in district and regional activities
Act as a trainer to new MRs
Act as field training faculty for sales competency building
Act as a coaching buddy and mentor for identified MRs in the team or district
