This state-of-the-art facility will deliver end-to-end Antibody-Drug Conjugate (ADC) capabilities with different manufacturing units/buildings in one campus Small molecule- chemical API production
Large molecule- monoclonal antibody manufacturing
Conjugation
Fill-and-finish operations, including sterile filling and lyophilization
Final secondary packaging

This Engineering Specialist Automation role leads and coordinates specialist engineering activities across a portfolio of programs and operational activities with responsibility of reliability, robustness and technical compliance. The position also provides technical and project management support in a defined area of automation expertise, ensuring timely and cost efficient implementation.
Accountabilities
- Lead or provide technical support to project execution, start-up and site operations readiness, with a strong focus on automation software and hardware applications in PCS and SCADA / PLC and data infrastructure.
- Act as technical owner for defined automation areas, providing guide mentorship on the full life cycle management of on-site automation systems and offering consultancy to key collaborators.
- Plan and implement project activities from concept through implementation, supplying functional expertise to project owners and, when required, handling small teams to deliver outcomes.
- Identify, evaluate, recommend and select technical solutions aligned with global or industry standards, while ensuring they fit local business priorities and objectives.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of standard processes, emerging technologies and new developments in automation and engineering.
- Take ownership of asset life cycle management for equipment and engineering systems to secure performance, compliance, efficiency and optimized cost of ownership.
- Lead hands-on fixing activities, resolve functional problems at pace and embed learning into standard operations and procedures.
- Apply and drive a structured problem-solving mindset using lean frameworks and data analytics to improve processes and reduce waste.
- Gather and analyses data to establish, maintain and refine business processes and procedures that support safe, compliant operations.
- Prepare technical governance documentation and asset status reports, including forecasting, KPI adherence, technical analytics and clear recommendations for improvement.
- Lead the preparation of investment applications and business cases that demonstrate short- and long-term value and benefits for the site.
- Coordinate resources across operational teams, project teams and the wider site to deliver value-focused outcomes and support cross-functional collaboration.
- Ensure all work, including that of others under your guidance, complies with cGMP, SHE standards and local regulatory requirements.
Essential Skills/Experience
Bachelor’s degree in engineering
Mastery in understanding of principles and concepts
Coding skills in PCS system (DeltaV)
Data savvy, collecting of data, analytics, diagnostics
Application of AI (agents, LLM,….) for operational efficiency
Experience in project management
Sound understanding of cGMP, SHE standards,
Standard Operating Procedures and local regulatory standards
Desirable Skills/Experience
Relevant qualification
- Experience in pharmaceutical industry
- 24V control systems and instrumentation
- Writing business applications in typical software languages, (Python, PowerBi,….)
- Managing small groups of people
- Managing Suppliers and contractors
