Senior Manager, Business Partnering Communications, Finance

As Senior Manager, Business Partnering Communications, Finance, you will shape and implement multi-channel programs that drive measurable engagement across our global footprint. You will be a trusted advisor to senior leaders, connecting the dots between Corporate Affairs and Finance so communications drives action, not just awareness.

Accountabilities:
- Integrated Programme Delivery: Design, coordinate and launch campaigns that activate the Finance Vision across markets and functions with clear objectives, audiences and metrics.
- Strategic Business Partnering: Advise senior Finance leaders; embed communications into planning cycles to manage risks, seize opportunities and ensure decisions are well informed.
- Multi-channel Storytelling: Create and commission messages, narratives, videos, podcasts and digital content that simplify complex topics and inspire action.
- Performance and Change Enablement: Build communications that accelerate transformation, equipping leaders and teams to adopt new ways of working with confidence.
- Data-driven Optimisation: Define measurement frameworks, analyse engagement and sentiment, and iterate content and channels to improve outcomes quarter over quarter.
- Event Communications: Orchestrate town halls and leadership meetings end-to-end—from briefing and content development to seamless delivery—enabling alignment and two-way engagement.
- Standards, Quality and Compliance: Champion a consistent voice and visual identity; manage agencies and budgets; uphold timelines and regulatory standards.
- Enterprise Collaboration: Partner across time zones with Corporate Affairs and Finance peers, flexing to shifting priorities while maintaining focus on impact and delivery.
From day one, you will deliver priority campaigns and leadership moments that matter; over time, you will institutionalise standards, upskill leaders and elevate the function’s reputation as a strategic partner.
Essential Skills/Experience:
- Experience: 5–7+ years in a fast-paced, global in-house or agency communications team, delivering complex, multi-market campaigns with measurable impact and return on investment.
- Multichannel expertise: Proven capability across multi-channel communications, including AI, digital, social and analytics; adept at using data and research to inform strategy and optimisation.
- Writing and storytelling: Exceptional written and verbal communication; ability to synthesise complex information into succinct, impactful narratives for diverse audiences.
- Stakeholder management: Strong interpersonal and influencing skills with experience managing up and navigating matrixed, international environments.
- Project leadership: Excellent planning and project management; able to juggle conflicting priorities, meet short deadlines, and deliver consistently high-quality outputs.
- Technical fluency: High level of digital and technical competence; understands technology options to optimise impact and efficiency.
- Judgment and integrity: Sound judgment, high integrity, and ability to handle confidential information.
- Approach: Proactive, innovative self-starter with critical thinking, curiosity and the ability to work independently and collaboratively across cultures.
Desirable Skills/Experience:
- Sector background: Experience in pharmaceuticals or other highly regulated industries.
- Media relations: Expertise in media relations and broader stakeholder engagement.
- Global scope: Experience working with international teams or on projects with international dimensions beyond core remit.
