Product Owner – Enterprise AI Assistant

Plats Póvoa de Lisboa, Distrito de Viseu, Portugal Jobb-id R-238558 Datum inlagd 11/04/2025

AstraZeneca is transforming the employee experience with myAZ, our Enterprise AI Assistant that delivers seamless, efficient, and personalized support. We’re looking for a Product Owner to lead the vision, roadmap, and value delivery for myAZ—driving measurable outcomes in time-to-resolution, self-service, and employee satisfaction.

What you’ll do:

  • Product vision and roadmap: Define and evolve the myAZ vision and value narrative; translate strategy into a clear, prioritized roadmap aligned to benefits realization and experience goals.

  • Backlog ownership: Maintain a transparent, outcomes-focused backlog across workflows, knowledge, service operations improvements, and integrations (e.g., ServiceNow, Workday, Concur). Ensure items have clear acceptance criteria.

  • Benefits realization: Partner with the myAZ Insights Analyst and Service Line Lead to tie backlog to measurable benefits, track performance against the business case, and course-correct as needed.

  • Intake management and scoping: Run structured intake for new requests; lead discovery to clarify requirements and success criteria; develop high-level estimates and coordinate with delivery partners to plan releases.

  • Cross-functional leadership: Work day-to-day with the myAZ Development Team, IT Architect, support teams, and Moveworks/IT partners to remove blockers and make trade-offs for quality and speed.

  • Stakeholder engagement: Run regular forums with business stakeholders and SMEs; gather insights, set expectations, and communicate progress through executive-ready updates.

  • Delivery cadence: Lead backlog refinement, sprint planning, and reviews; ensure releases are value-focused and minimize disruption.

  • Experience and quality: Champion usability, accessibility, and content quality; validate outcomes with user testing; own go/no-go decisions based on acceptance criteria.

  • Vendor and platform collaboration: Partner with Moveworks Customer Success and AZ IT to align on capabilities, roadmap, and constraints; drive enhancement requests and platform best practices.

  • Risk, compliance, and security: Embed privacy, security, and regulatory considerations in requirements; ensure auditability of key decisions.

  • Scaling and expansion: Identify opportunities to extend myAZ capabilities across functions and geographies; shape integrations with AZ source systems, platforms, and AI tools.

What you’ll bring:

  • Experience: 5–8 years in product ownership/management for digital platforms or enterprise services, with a track record of delivering measurable outcomes.

  • Expertise: Strong Agile/Scrum fundamentals; hands-on backlog management, user story authoring, and acceptance criteria; familiarity with GenAI-enabled support, workflow automation, and knowledge-driven experiences.

  • Data-driven mindset: Comfortable with KPIs and benefits modelling (adoption, deflection, MTTR, CSAT); able to make decisions using qualitative and quantitative insights.

  • Collaboration and communication: Excellent stakeholder management; clear, structured communication and presentation skills; executive-ready reporting and storytelling.

  • Tools and platforms: Experience with product/backlog tools (ideally ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management) and BI tools such as Power BI; exposure to Moveworks or similar AI platforms is a strong plus.

  • Nice to have: Regulated industry experience; UX and content operations familiarity; basic understanding of conversational design and intent taxonomy.
