HR Administration Specialist
Join AstraZeneca’s Regional HR Centre and help us deliver exceptional HR services across our global workforce. As an HR Administration Specialist, you will support core workforce administration and recruitment activities, partnering with HR and IT stakeholders to improve processes and technology usage. This is a hands-on role where accuracy, confidentiality, and customer focus are key.
What you’ll do :
Maintain and validate employee data: Manage personal data changes with appropriate approvals and documentation; perform data quality checks in Workday and resolve errors with local HR.
Manage positions and job changes in Workday: Create, edit, and end appointments/positions; process job changes (promotions, demotions, transfers, FT contract extensions) and ensure stakeholders are informed.
Support transfers and contracts: Partner with in-country HR to manage affiliate transfers, generate contract documentation, and support manual payroll/benefits activities when needed.
Handle employment verification: Confirm employee details to third parties, secure approvals, and issue verification statements.
Drive continuous improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance processes and technology; collaborate with Global Process Owners (GPOs) to prioritize and implement improvements.
Support end-to-end talent acquisition: Coordinate interviews, background screening and right-to-work checks, prepare offer letters, manage purchase orders and candidate expenses, and liaise with external vendors. Ensure accurate information capture across HR systems.
What you’ll bring :
Language skills: Fluent inSpanish and English(Portuguese valued).
HR operations know‑how: Understanding of HR service center technologies (case management, telephony, user portals) and proficiency withMicrosoft applications.
Workday/ServiceNow familiarity: Experience is desirable and will help you ramp quickly.
Execution excellence: Keen attention to detail, strong data accuracy, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a matrixed team environment.
People and communication skills: Clear, confident communication; strong organization and interpersonal skills; proven ability to handle confidential data; analytical mindset and problem-solving capability.
Team mindset: Enjoys collaborating in a lively, hard-working team; flexible and resourceful through change.
Preferred qualifications :
Experience working in an HR team; HR qualification.
Experience in a matrix environment and with external vendors.
Workday and ServiceNow experience.
Working model
We value in-person collaboration to connect, work at pace, and make decisions. We work on averagea minimum of three days per week from the office, while balancing individual flexibility.
