Job Description
Director
Corporate Strategy Director leads the end-to-end development and execution of AZKK strategic priorities in line with the overall business plan. The role independently shapes strategic options, drives cross-functional decision making, and owns delivery of key transformation initiatives. As the transaction lead for selected inorganic opportunities (M&A / partnerships / divestments), the role drives the full deal lifecycle—from thesis creation and target screening through valuation, due diligence, negotiation, and integration planning—working closely with executive leadership and global stakeholders.
Associate Director
The Corporate Strategy Associate Director supports the development and execution of AZKK’s strategic initiatives, working closely with the Corporate Strategy Director and cross-functional teams. This role contributes to strategic planning, project management, including large-scale transaction under supervision from Senior Director and/or VP Corporate Strategy. The associate director also plays a key role in supporting MCP-led initiatives such as JLT, ensuring effective coordination, documentation, and follow-through.
Typical Accountabilities
Director
• Own the AZKK strategic planning cycle: identify strategic issues, structure analyses, develop scenarios, and translate the chosen strategy into executable priorities and KPIs.
• Lead high-impact corporate strategy projects end-to-end (problem framing → analysis → recommendation → execution tracking), mobilizing cross-functional teams without line authority.
• Drive selected large-scale transactions (M&A / partnerships / divestments): build the strategic rationale, lead valuation and business case, coordinate diligence, manage negotiations, and steer internal governance through decision and close.
• Provide executive-level counsel to JLT / senior leaders: prepare materials, facilitate critical discussions, and recommend actions with clear risks, trade-offs, and mitigations.
• Establish and run governance for strategic initiatives: define workplans, manage dependencies, remove blockers, and ensure outcomes are delivered on time and to quality.
• Lead external advisor management (investment banks, legal, consultants) and ensure efficient, value-for-money support aligned to AZ standards.
• Proactively identify enterprise risks/opportunities and drive change management and communications to embed sustainable outcomes.
Associate Director
•Supports the Corporate Strategy Director in developing and implementing strategic initiatives aligned with AZKK’s business objectives.
•Assists in preparing materials and facilitating MCP-led meetings (e.g., JLT, JLT offsite) including minutes taking, action tracking and follow-up.
•Leads small cross-functional projects or segments of large cross-functional projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignement with strategic goals.
•Conducts market/ desktop research and analysis to support parts of strategic decision-making and potential transactions
•Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation and project tracking tools
Requirements
Essential
Director
• Educated to degree level
• 8+ years of relevant experience in corporate strategy, strategic consulting,
• Demonstrated end-to-end leadership of complex, cross-functional programs with high autonomy and accountability
• Strong financial modeling and valuation capability; able to create investment cases and influence senior decision making
• Excellent executive communication (written and verbal) and stakeholder management up to senior leadership level
• Proven ability to lead negotiations and manage external advisors (bankers, lawyers, consultants)
• Business-level English proficiency; able to operate in a global environment
• Strong problem-solving skills grounded in qualitative and quantitative analysis
Associate Director
•University degree (business, economics, or related fields)
•5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare industry, consulting, or related roles
•Business level English proficiency
•Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
•Building from the scratch, enterprise mind-set
•Analytical skill with experience in qualitative and quantitative analysis
Desirable

• Preferred for Masters degree, e.g. MBA
