Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Communication Executive to join our India Marketing Company. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in driving the company’s brand narrative, supporting business objectives through strategizing and executing communication initiatives, and strengthening stakeholder trust across both internal and external channels.

This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a leading multinational environment, ensuring that our communications consistently reflect our values and leadership position in the market.

Key Responsibilities

As a Communication Executive, your responsibilities will include being the direct point of contact for company communications in India. You will contribute to the development and execution of integrated communication strategies that enhance the company’s visibility, reputation, and engagement with key stakeholders.

Key focus areas include:

  • Brand Communication and Positioning: You will support the positioning of the company as an industry leader within the pharmaceutical sector through compelling storytelling, media engagement, and thought leadership content.
  • Media Relations: You will build and maintain strong relationships with relevant media outlets, coordinate press releases, respond to media queries, and manage proactive and reactive media communications.
  • Internal Communication: You will collaborate with HR and business leaders to develop and execute employee engagement campaigns, support change management communications, and facilitate leadership announcements and company updates.
  • Digital and Social Media Management: You will manage the company’s digital presence, including content creation and campaigns for internal digital channels and social media platforms, ensuring alignment with the overall corporate strategy.
  • Crisis Communication: You will assist in issues management and crisis communication planning, ensuring timely and accurate communication with stakeholders during sensitive situations.
  • Content Creation: You will create engaging content for a wide range of formats, including articles, presentations, speeches, newsletters, website copy, and executive messaging.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: You will support the planning and execution of external events, conferences, and CSR activities that reinforce the company’s strategic priorities and community commitments.
  • Compliance: You will ensure all communications are aligned with company policies and comply with regulatory requirements and local cultural context.

Profile and Requirements

The ideal candidate should display a strong command of both English, Hindi and other local languages, have excellent writing and presentation skills, and a proven ability to quickly adapt to changing business needs. Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or related field.
  • 4-6 years of experience in corporate communications, preferably within the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or FMCG sectors.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in developing digital communication strategies and managing social media platforms.
  • Experience in media relations and crisis communication is preferred.
  • Creative thinking and strong stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a matrix environment, balancing multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
  • A proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
