SEO Strategy Lead

As an SEO Strategy Lead at AstraZeneca, you'll be at the forefront of digital customer engagement, driving organic search strategies for our US commercial brands. Your expertise will be pivotal in understanding brand objectives and challenges, delivering impactful strategies based on user data and platform guidelines. Accountabilities:
In this exciting role, you'll orchestrate organic search initiatives, ensuring seamless integration with broader digital plans. You'll assess and present the impact of SEO efforts, providing expert consultation to identify SEO critical metrics and OKRs for marketing programs. Collaborate with the SEO delivery team to design and implement data-driven strategies that align with client business goals. As the primary liaison for SEO industry standards, you'll drive continuous service improvements across US digital teams. Success hinges on building partnerships to grow and engage the organic search audience while supporting the evolution of SEO delivery through AI technology.
Essential Skills/Experience:
demonstrated ability working in agency SEO, SEM, Social, or other paid media, digital analytics, or creative strategy
Experience in the healthcare-related field, or any other highly regulated industry
Experience reporting to leadership or clients on SEO, SEM, Paid media, or digital creative strategy.
Proven track record of developing and articulating a strategy aimed at solutions for a business challenge, as well as implementing digital marketing programs.
Experience prioritizing, scheduling, and optimizing website content.
Proven success guiding the technology team & website developers to follow standard processes.
Strong understanding of standard processes around website development and user experience.
Adopts partnership and can also work independently
Adaptable to changing processes and organizational structure
Excellent communication skills, comfortable speaking and presenting to medium-large groups
Desirable Skills/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Experience developing or adhering to marketing operations standards within a large organization.
Experience with Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics and attribution solutions.
Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, Power BI, and data analysis.
Familiarity with SEO tools such as Brightedge, SEM Rush, Moz, Google Search Console, etc.
Pharmaceutical or Healthcare marketing/advertising/measurement experience.
Validated experience driving measurable, positive results based on search strategy.
Understanding of how paid search & organic search (SEO) work together.
Understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Experience applying AI technology to provide efficient and enhanced SEO strategies
