Patient Services Project Manager (12-Month Contract)
The Patient Services Project Manager will help build our Patient Centre of Excellence (PCoE) capability. This is a program-agnostic role which may move to support multiple therapeutic areas over time. You will responsible for leading and delivering a portfolio of projects and initiatives that improve and expand service offerings in close collaboration with internal stakeholders, other relevant cross-functional teams, and selected vendors.
What You’ll Do:
·Lead project delivery: apply project management principles and methods to ensure key projects are accurately prioritized and managed to meet quality and budget objectives.
·PSP support: Partner with PCoE colleagues on practical project management approaches and process improvements.
·Collaborate across functions: Partner with Access, Medical, Compliance, Legal, Pharmacovigilance, Finance, and Brand/Commercial teams to translate insights and market dynamics into better services.
·Vendor management: Collaborate with external partners to ensure timely, on-budget, high-quality project delivery.
·Shape vision and design: Contribute to PCoE strategy; map journeys and processes, identify barriers for patients and HCPs, and develop solutions that improve engagement and adherence.
·Bring market insight: Stay current on policies and industry offerings; convert insights into practical recommendations.
Continuous improvement: Identify and drive enhancements to AZ processes, tools, and ways of working.
·Knowledge sharing: Facilitate best-practice exchange and knowledge transfer across functions.
·Support governance and risk management: Uphold SOPs, escalation pathways, and risk/issue management to ensure compliant, patient-centric operations.
What We’re Looking For:
·Experience: Minimum 2 years’ experience in project management preferably within patient support programs or the pharmaceutical industries; proven success launching and operationalizing patient services.
·Education: Post-secondary education, preferably in health sciences or business. Equivalent experience will be considered.
·Analytics and insight generation: Comfortable with budgeting, analyzing data to identify trends, and translating insights into actions.
·Communication and collaboration: Clear communicator with strong interpersonal skills; effective in highly collaborative, matrixed environments.
·Influence without authority: Ability to align stakeholders and drive change across internal teams and external partners.
·Role structure: Individual contributor role with day-to-day leadership across cross-functional teams and vendor partners; no direct reports.
·Language: Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset.

Annual base salary for this position ranges from 94,956.80 to 124,630.80.AstraZeneca is committed to providing fair and equitable compensation opportunities to all colleagues. Our compensation policies and practices have been designed to allow colleagues to progress through the salary range over time as they progress in their role. The range provided in this posting represents an offer pay range used in a majority of situations. The base pay offered will vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including the candidate's skills and experience, job-related knowledge, and other specific business and organizational needs. In some cases, offers outside the range may also be considered to address unique circumstances.
In addition, our permanent positions offer an annual Variable Pay Bonus/Short Term Incentive opportunity as well as eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program (if applicable to role). Benefits offered for permanent roles include a competitive Flex Benefits & Retirement Savings Program, 4 weeks’ paid vacation, and annual Personal Days. Fixed Term Contract/Temporary positions (excluding students) are offered a Contract Benefits Program.
