We are bringing together a team of project professionals who go beyond just “managing the plan” and provide great customer service. AstraZeneca is building an internal consulting capability in our Global Business Services (GBS) group focused on delivering high-quality project management capabilities to our enterprise organization.
Accountabilities:
As a Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the planning, execution, and completion of projects within our organization. You will work closely with project teams and stakeholders to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to quality standards.
What you'll do:
- Provides day-to-day management of a project or project workstream.
- Manages and updates the plan, risks, issues, actions, decisions log. Escalating risks and issues where necessary.
- Tracking of workstream and cross workstream dependencies.
- Prepares and/or edits meeting agendas, minutes, presentations, and tables.
- Set up of complex meetings and workshops, often involving attendees from multiple (global) locations and timezones.
- Coordinates, collates, and communicates information at the detailed level.
- Coordinates preparation of internal and external reports through gathering, analyzing, and summarizing data and information from the workstream team.
- Reconciles figures or information from various sources, ensuring completeness and accuracy, and follows up on discrepancies.
- Ensures coordination of the different business areas involved in a project and ensures adherence to deadlines.
- Coordination of lessons learnt across the work streams and broader programme.
Essential Skills/Experience:
- Minimum 3 years’ project management and/or project support experience
- Good problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Excellent customer experience mindset
- Experience working with project management tools (SmartSheet, JIRA, monday.com, Asana, etc)
- Proven ability creating effective presentations
- Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills
- Comfortable with ambiguity
Desirable Skills/Experience
- Good written and spoken communications
- Has an eye for detail
- Competent in the use of relevant office equipment and systems
- Experience of a variety of software/systems
- Ability to follow processes
