R&I External Engagement Content Associate Manager

Are you passionate about creating engaging digital content and driving impactful external engagement? As an External Engagement Associate, you will work with cross-functional teams and Key External Experts to deliver compelling content in various digital formats. Your role will involve coordinating video assets, creating digital content for national events, and ensuring compliance and performance monitoring. You will be instrumental in optimizing our brand marketing and external engagement strategies.
Key Skills
Tactical delivery, localisation, event bespoking and execution of digital assets in line with the brand strategic and external engagement and congress plans.
Contracting of sponsorships with external organisations
Uses insight to support the optimisation of omnichannel customer experiences.
Drives the content creation engine of digital assets to be deployed across omnichannel experiences.
Manages the asset approval and compliance process with XF partners whilst identifying and scoping innovative opportunities to keep and drive competitive edge in this arena.
Advises the EE team on available assets and bridges content diary to events and activities proactively to impact customer experience positively.
Essential Skills/Experience
Applicants must have a degree at the "Degree level" or equivalent experience.
Significant R&I therapeutic area experience and understanding of costumer and specialist environment
Demonstrable track record of highly successful and consistent delivery of projects and tasks
Demonstrated success in completing, driving and reviewing impact of projects
Experience delivering desired results in a complex environment with multiple priorities and collaborators.
Effective matrix working experience.
Strong analytical and process management skills; capable of assessing return on investment and **improving** collaborative packages
Solid experience managing contracts and logistics, ideally in a pharmaceutical or regulated environment
Highly organised; can streamline background work so EEMs can prioritise customer/advocacy activities
Confident with training/guidance and potentially with some exposure to events/congress support
Strong interpersonal skills for effective teamwork, but not a focus on direct customer selling
Regular to office meetings and congresses
Desirable Skills/Experience
Proven ability to deliver operational results and mobilize teams to complete tasks without authority
Professional gravitas and ability to work collaboratively with cross functional teams at all levels throughout the organisations internally and externally.
Impactful oral and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate proactively and clearly.
Understanding of the complex and evolving external engagement space with insights about trends, digital opportunities, risks, and an understanding of collaborators outside of the organization
Strong analytical mind-set and ability to quickly assess large amounts of information and distil into key messages
Integrity and high ethical standards, role model for living and demonstrating AstraZeneca values.
Exposure to or knowledge of ABPI code is desirable, though can be developed in the role
Background in process-heavy roles such as finance, analytics, or operations, rather than customer sales
Previous experience in a similar associate/support function within pharma, event logistics, or project management
