Role Overview: We are looking for a highly skilled Axial Senior Data Migration Project Manager to lead and execute data migration deployments from local ECC to SAP S/4 HANA within our Axial Data Migration team. This pivotal role involves managing the end-to-end migration project to ensure seamless integration and deployment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Data Migration Deployment Lead to create and track migration plans for each test phase and production cutover.

  • Identify and manage data migration dependencies and critical paths.

  • Develop and finalize the APICOM & UK Data Migration Deployment Plan and ensure stakeholder sign-offs via Docu-sign.

  • Confirm required objects for deployment and manage localization needs.

  • Coordinate with the Data Design PM to confirm and schedule object build plans.

  • Document and manage data migration risks and issues in Jira.

  • Support and occasionally deputize for the Data Defect Manager.

  • Ensure sufficient resources from Accenture and ECS are available for data migration activities.

  • Host daily Data Load stand-ups to discuss deliverables and address blockers.

  • Develop delivery plans, track progress, report status, and manage action items for deployment.

  • Conduct weekly meetings with the Data Programme Manager to discuss progress and confirm escalation needs.

  • Mentor and support other Data Migration PMs by sharing best practices and lessons learned.

  • Collaborate with the Axial GITC tower lead on team initiatives and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in data migration projects, specifically within SAP environments.

  • Strong project management skills with a proven track record of meeting strict deadlines.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to risk management.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and mentor junior PMs.

  • Experience with tools like Jira, and familiarity with Docu-sign.

  • Strong communication skills and stakeholder management experience.
