Business Operations Lead

Introduction to role:

Join our dynamic team as a Business Operations Analyst, a role that supports Compliance, Legal and Contraction Operations (CLCO) within GBS. This role is pivotal in providing operational and financial guidance, ensuring that all collaborators receive the information they require to drive business performance. This may involve various financial and/or operational analysis, as well as supporting the annual business planning cycle and monthly reporting. The Business Analyst has deep practical experience, with repeated practice performing business analysis and design in a variety of complex situations. The role will form part of the CLCO Operations Team, reporting to the CLCO Operations Director, and will partner with the CLCO LT and their designees to deliver defined foundational operational deliverables.

Accountabilities:

As a Business Operations Analyst, you will partner with Finance Business Partner on budget development, management and reporting. You will maintain and report on HC across CLCO and partner with HR and IT where needed to support CLCO Operations activities. You will participate and deliver the annual MTP plan, support the development of annual department objectives and measurement mechanisms. You will manage the CLCO Risk Register and Key Risk & Control monitoring, manage KPI and SLA reporting role-up across CLCO, evaluate, ensure and/or perform process monitoring as needed to ensure operational controls are adequately designed and operating effectively. You will also perform business analysis planning and monitoring, develop and Maintain T&E and CO2 spend prioritization plan, help with design, documentation and set up of supporting processes across CLCO, partner with various GBS functions to deliver CLCO objectives, drive insights and improvement across CLCO, maintain high level of internal and external customer satisfaction.

Essential Skills/Experience:

• 5+ years Finance, Business Partnering and/or Compliance experience

• Budget Management and Business Reporting experience

• Strong organizational and operational skills

• Strong customer service orientation skills

• Excellent interpersonal, conflict management, and customer relationship skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Excellent facilitation skills

Desirable Skills/Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent directly- related experience

• Pharmaceutical or healthcare industry experience

• Experience working globally

• Strong problem-solving skills

• Data analysis

• Excel, Power Point and Power BI/ Smartsheet 

• Leadership skills

• Presentation preparation

• Collaborative style, teammate
