ABOUT THE TEAM
You will join a high performing medical team who combine medical expertise with commercial acumen. Problem-solving is second nature, and with an agile enterprise mindset, the team proactively takes accountability and moves out of comfort zones to achieve the best results.
What you will do:
Sales representative with the principal function of calling upon primary care physicians and retail pharmacies.
Typical Accountabilities Include:
Sales Achievement
- Effectively implement sales strategies and tactics
- Business Savvy for Territory Success
- Integrates business trends into local sales plans.
- Uses business principles (TAP etc.) to boost sales.
- Analyses data to build winning sales strategies.
- Positions solutions within AZ's value proposition.
- Drive sales performance and ensure sales forecasts and assigned budgets meet or exceed therapeutic and territory expectations.
Customer-Centric Sales Approach
- Deeply understand customer needs & healthcare landscape.
- Tailor message to patient journey, disease impact, & decision-makers.
- Develop pre-call plans & establish unmet needs.
- Use active listening & questioning to build value & address concerns.
- Deliver personalized messages & handle objections.
- Secure commitment & share insights with team.
- Work with Sales Manager to develop a local strategy and business plan to meet or exceed sales and call execution goals in territory.

- Prioritize accounts & set SMART goals (customers & accounts).
- Identify & leverage AZ's strengths to improve market position.
- Collaborate across teams to achieve goals & share knowledge.
- Build & adapt sales plans for success, exceeding targets & budgets.

- Expertise in therapeutic area's healthcare ecosystem.
- Understands broader healthcare trends & regulations impacting customer decisions.

- Deep understanding of local healthcare & patient pathway.
- Knowledge of decision-makers' roles, motivations, & concerns.
- Builds long-term relationships with key stakeholders in high-value accounts.
- Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of market, demographic, and managed markets information relative to assigned sales territory.
- Successfully complete all training requirements, including product examinations.
Adaptable Communicator & Problem Solver
- Adjusts communication for colleagues & clients.
- Works effectively across teams (cross-functional).
- Shares insights to benefit accounts & leaders.

Essential Skills/Experience
- Must have a completed Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy or completed degree in sciences.
- 2-4 years post-qualification experience
- Medical sales experience 3-5 years preferably in CVRM space.
- Existing relationships and knowledge with KOL’s in the therapeutic area-CVRM
- Previous experience with facilitating and organising meetings.
- Valid driver’s license Valid driver’s license and own vehicle
