What you’ll do
Typical Accountabilities
1/ Franchise Leadership
- Lead strategy, business planning, marketing, and sales execution to achieve portfolio P&L objectives and sustainable growth.
- Develop portfolio strategy based on scientific insights, market intelligence, and public health needs.
- Drive launch excellence and lifecycle management through strong cross‑functional collaboration.
- Strengthen stakeholder engagement with HCPs, and government bodies to improve patient access and outcomes.
- Ensure effective sales force deployment, inventory management, compliance, and ethical business conduct.
- Develops and successfully manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
2/ Alliance Portfolio Leadership (Vaccines, GI, Respiratory)
- Lead and govern the alliance partnership with the distributor for Alliance Portfolio.
- Strengthen stakeholder engagement with distributors to ensure business outcomes.
- Hold full P&L ownership, including revenue, profitability, forecasting, budgeting, and investment optimization.
- Co‑develop and execute portfolio and go‑to‑market strategies to deliver sustainable growth.
- Ensure execution excellence, cross‑functional alignment, and compliance across the alliance model.
3/ Others
- Lead multiple priorities with agility and focus in a dynamic environment.
- Coach/mentor the team through performance development, talent development and career development. Provide leadership to ensure consistent application, individual accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Develop, coach, and build leadership capabilities and succession pipelines within the team.
- Collaborate cross-functionally and drive cross-functional projects of strategic importance.
Essentials
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Medicine, or Life Sciences is required;
- Minimum 5+ years of senior Sales and Marketing leadership experience, with a strong track record in launching and growing pharmaceutical products.
- Deep expertise in Vaccines, with a solid understanding of immunology and public health dynamics.
- Proven experience in cross‑functional collaboration with Medical, Regulatory, Government Affairs, Supply Chain, and other key functions.
- Strong ability to influence and manage internal and external stakeholders, including HCPs, government bodies, payers, and alliance partners.
- Experience managing alliance or distributor partnerships is highly desirable.
- Experience in consumer, respiratory, or gastrointestinal portfolios is an advantage
- Exposure to media relations and crisis management is an advantage.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with resilience and flexibility to operate effectively in complex, high‑pressure environments.
- Demonstrated leadership, budget management, presentation, negotiation, and influencing skills.
- Strong business and financial acumen, with the ability to think strategically while driving operational excellence.
- A collaborative, team‑oriented mindset, committed to delivering company strategic priorities and developing future leaders

Education, Qualifications, Skills and Experience

- Strong ability to influence and manage internal and external stakeholders, including MoH, Who, Unicef, VNVC, HCPs, government bodies, and payers.
- Experience in media relations and crisis management is an advantage.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with flexibility and resilience to navigate complexity and high-pressure situations.
- Demonstrated leadership, communication, budget management, presentation, and negotiation skills with flucency in English and Vietnamese
- Strong business and financial acumen, with strategic thinking and operational excellence.
- A collaborative, team-oriented mindset, committed to delivering AZ’s strategic priorities and developing talent.
- Experience with digital and data driven marketing is an advantage.
