Introduction to Role:

Join us at AstraZeneca as a Sales Manager in our cardiology team. This role is a unique opportunity to fuse science with business, setting the direction for our pipeline. As a sales Manager, you will effectively manage a sales team of 6 KAMs within the framework of agreed sales and marketing campaigns.

Accountabilities:

As a sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing and coaching a team of Key Account Managers, achieving sales and cost targets, implementing agreed strategies and tactics, and maintaining relationships with selected customers within your therapy area. You will also be accountable for adherence to AZ ethical standards and responsible for the creation of the sales part of the business plan.

Essential Skills/Experience:

·Prior sales manager experience

·Strong understanding on the pharmaceutical industry

·Efficient data management

·Strong leadership experience

·Effective communication and collaboration skills

·English skills (B1 minimum)

·Driving licence

Desirable Skills:

·Experience working in the relevant therapy area

·MS Office proficiency
