Procurement Senior Analyst 

Belgium (Dilbeek, Brussels).

As Procurement Senior Analyst you will be a business partner for the cluster (Benelux & Ireland) in developing and implementing the best buying strategies (indirect procurement) to ensure that the most appropriate goods and services are selected based on price, quality, delivery times and services support.

Accountabilities:

Support the Procurement Cluster Manager Benelux & Ireland in:

  • being the point of contact for the business in all procurement related matters;
  • sourcing activities within key area’s of spend in commercial categories (indirect);
  • the preparation of competitive bids, quotations and proposals with pertinent specifications, terms and conditions;
  • developing and monitoring of contracts for the supply of both standard and tailored products and services with new and existing suppliers;
  • maintaining supplier relationships for the assigned categories and resolving supplier issues including called out cases;
  • maintaining a cost reduction, cost avoidance, cost containment program and reporting it via the value database;
  • data collection, elaboration and analysis;
  • all activities according with Company Values, Code of Ethics, Guidelines/Internal procedures (SOP’s) relating to people, finance, technology, security, and SHE (Safety, Health and Environment) and local, national and regional legislation.

Crucial Skills/Experience:

  • Strong experience within procurement or as a buyer in an international organisation
  • Experience in advising the business
  • Degree in Economics/ Business
  • Confirmed ability to manage multiple projects/tasks optimally
  • Proficiency in Dutch and English. Knowledge of the French language is a plus but not crucial
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build partnership with internal and external partners
