Director, Global Strategic Partnerships – HPA Engagement

As the Director of Global Strategic Partnerships-HPA Engagement, you will play a pivotal role in defining partnership strategies and implementing engagement plans with HPAs to build cancer networks and transform cancer care through innovative collaborative solutions and research models.

Accountabilities:

  • Develop a comprehensive partnership strategy with HPAs, establishing clear Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to drive transformative care initiatives across markets.
  • Map and maintain a strategic external engagement plan with HPAs, informed by medical priorities and market insights to enhance collaboration and effectiveness.
  • Ensure that all initiatives emphasize innovative care delivery through cancer networks, promoting internal and external stakeholder engagement and implementing cutting-edge solutions.
  • Collaborate with key HPAs to align on strategic priorities, proactively identifying and delivering high-impact collaborative programs that advance health equity goals.
  • Drive systematic processes for orchestrating the implementation of initiatives at global, regional, and local levels, ensuring maximum patient impact while aligning with corporate objectives.
  • Collaborate across a highly matrixed organization to foster buy-in and alignment among diverse stakeholders within the Oncology Business Unit (OBU) and Research & Development (R&D).
  • Oversee budget management and vendor oversight associated with external activities to ensure alignment with financial and operational objectives.
  • Maintain compliance with all company policies and regulatory requirements governing external interactions, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices.

Essential Skills/Experience:

  • Graduate degree in Science, Medicine, Pharmacy or equivalent life sciences required.
  • >10 years of experience related to medical affairs strategy development, clinical development, market access and/or evidence generation.
  • Strong experience in establishing and managing collaborations with consortium, coalition and HPAs.
  • Strong knowledge of public-private partners in the healthcare ecosystem.
  • Proven ability to operate in a complex, matrixed organization and influence without direct authority.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to navigate ambiguity.
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.

Desirable Skills/Experience:

  • Understanding of treatment guidelines and MDT’s.
  • Experience of implementing projects from global at local/regional level and applying adaptations as required.
  • Substantial experience in a strategy-setting role in Pharma.
  • Good understanding of Intellectual property regulation.

The annual base pay for this position ranges from $ 172,468.00 - 258,702.00 USD. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition, our positions offer a short-term incentive bonus opportunity; eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program. Benefits offered include a qualified retirement program [401(k) plan]; paid vacation and holidays; paid leaves; and, health benefits including medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
