Are you ready to lead the way in sustainability and innovation? As the Building Management System/Environmental Monitoring System (BMS/EMS) Engineering Project Manager, you will oversee the design, planning, execution, and validation of projects related to our site's BMS/EMS systems. This role requires extensive coordination with various departments to ensure projects are executed efficiently and meet both company and regulatory standards. You will serve as the technical authority, leading efforts to enhance system performance and sustainability.
Accountabilities
Project Management:
• Develop and oversee comprehensive BMS/EMS project plans, including scope, timelines, resources, and budgets.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to define project objectives and deliverables, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Manage the execution and validation of BMS/EMS projects, ensuring adherence to quality and regulatory compliance.
• Develop and maintain project budgets and schedules.
• Monitor project timelines and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
• Track project expenses and ensure adherence to budget constraints.
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Monitor and manage project risks throughout the project lifecycle.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including contracts, reports, and records.
Engineering Design and Technical Oversight:
• Provide technical expertise and guidance on BMS/EMS technologies.
• Oversee design, installation, and integration processes to optimize system performance and efficiency.
• Continuously seek opportunities for operational improvements and carbon footprint reduction.
Troubleshooting and Support:
• Lead or support troubleshooting efforts to resolve BMS/EMS related issues promptly and effectively.
• Provide guidance and post-implementation support to ensure consistent system performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with Maintenance teams implementing Reliability Centered
Maintenance (RCM) principles.
Validation, Compliance, and Quality Assurance:
• Ensure BMS/EMS projects meet quality standards and validation requirements by conducting or leading validation efforts.
• Conduct quality assurance reviews and implement necessary quality control processes.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety guidelines.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date system life cycle documentation, design specifications, and engineering drawings.
Team Management and Communication:
• Lead and manage BMS/EMS project teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across departments.
• Ensure alignment of project goals with organizational objectives.
• Act as the primary liaison with contractors, vendors, and other key stakeholders on BMS/EMS projects.
• Identify and allocate necessary resources, including manpower, equipment, and materials.
• Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members.
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project teams.
• Prepare and deliver comprehensive project status reports.
Essential Skills/Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field.
• 3-5 years of project management experience within building management systems, construction, or related industries.
• Hands-on experience with EMS/BMS technologies and systems.
Desirable Skills/Experience
• Proficiency with Siemens Desigo BMS and the integration of complex building management systems.
• Knowledgeable in Clean Room Environments, Controlled Temperature Units, and Walk-Ins.
• Technical writing proficiency with excellent verbal communication skills.

The annual base pay (or hourly rate of compensation) for this position ranges from $76,308.00 to $114,462.00 Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition, our positions offer a short-term incentive bonus opportunity; eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program (salaried roles), to receive a retirement contribution (hourly roles), and commission payment eligibility (sales roles). Benefits offered included a qualified retirement program [401(k) plan]; paid vacation and holidays; paid leaves; and, health benefits including medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans.
