We have a deep-rooted heritage in Oncology, and our main purpose is to eliminate cancer as a cause of death. This will be achieved by driving innovative science, preparing for new medicines coming to the market, building close collaboration and partnerships with stakeholders to transform health care systems and develop high-performing teams.
Our core oncology disease areas include Lung Cancer, Ovarian Cancer, Breast Cancer & Haematology, where we have a big portfolio of medicines currently present in the 4 countries as well as a future and promising pipeline.

We are seeking a Nordic Brand Manager for Breast Cancer who is as dedicated and committed as we are. This Nordic role will be based in Finland. Join us in our Oncology Business Unit, where we aim to improve the lives of thousands of patients in the Nordics.
The role
This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in our current and future Breast Cancer portfolio, where a handful of new launches and label extensions are expected in the coming years.
As Nordic Brand Manager Breast Cancer, you will develop a strong understanding of the patient journey, you will build on deep customer insights to lead & deliver Nordic launch strategies & implementation of those in collaboration with cross-functional teams and our alliance partner at a Nordic level but you will also need to understand and support the country needs.
You will play a key role in brand strategic teams, to ensure we deliver high scientific and strategic value as well as innovative solutions for customers and patients with an omnichannel mindset, being connected with the team and with the customer as much as possible.
You will be close to the field teams and be capable of having high level scientific and strategic conversations with key healthcare stakeholders in BC.
This role can develop further and beyond OBU and within the organisation, assuming wider and more senior responsibilities in same or other therapeutic areas.
What you will do
Lead the strategic launch- & brand planning and ensure that our strategy is built on robust and impactful insights.
Empower and inspire the cross-functional team by bringing strategy to life in different phases of the product lifecycle, thinking and boosting omnichannel mindset and generating the best cross-functional collaboration and ensuring communication between the different roles.
Work closely with country field teams and multiple HC stakeholders, dedicating significant time to be in the field and to gain customer insights, as well as analyse performance data and market research to gain further insights and drive commercial initiatives
Develop & implement Nordic and local branded campaigns and materials based on Global deliverables, adapted to Nordic and country needs.
Be responsible for the development and delivery of training and support for the field teams and others involved in the communication and implementation of joint working projects.
Suggest new ways of working, challenging the status quo, opening up for innovation and co-creation of better health solutions for patients in collaboration with health stakeholders.
Ensure tasks are of accurate quality and in accordance with written procedures and current legal requirements and internal standards
Identify, address & leverage potential obstacles, risks & opportunities associated with various internal or external stakeholder collaborations and address those in the Brand Team.
Develop a strategic mindset beyond the brand(s) and a deep understanding on the therapeutic area strategy, that enhances and improves the BC approach to customers.
Be the ambassador of the assigned brand(s) and the therapeutical area together with the field teams, to ensure we aspire for the best customer engagement, the best access to medicines and the best solutions for patients.
Propose, develop cross-disease TA strategies, analyse, lead projects for OBU evolution to increase our impact in the healthcare environment, at Nordic or country level.
To be successful in this role you have
A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Marketing/Science or Pharmacy.
Several years of experience in Oncology in marketing, but also in different launches.
Proven experience with different marketing and digital channels
Good knowledge of the oncology healthcare environment and stakeholders.
Deep understanding on how access to medicines work in the Nordic countries.
A proven track record of building strong strategic and tactical plans.
A strong sense for planning, structure, prioritization and execution
Experience of cross functional collaboration across the Nordic markets.
A sense for commercial innovation.
A proactive change management leadership style.
Good knowledge of Nordic market ethical rules for marketeers.
A strong patient-centric mindset.
Therapeutic area experience in Breast Cancer is desirable.
Experience while working in alliance or in collaboration with other companies is desirable.
Fluency in Finnish and English languages.
This role is office based, which requires living in the Helsinki capital area or nearby. You will be able to align a minimum base of working days in the office aligned with the AZ internal policy.
