What you’ll do
You will lead the Cardiovascular, Renal & Metabolism (CVRM) Business Unit for Finland, being responsible for all sales and marketing activities, driving commercial performance, and managing the P&L. At times, there could be dedicated responsibility for a product on a Nordic level or enterprise-wide projects in Finland or a Nordic setting. Leveraging global strategies, you will work with your Therapeutic Area dedicated teams to develop localized strategies and plans based on customer insights, ensuring effective execution across the country, including the implementation of omnichannel programs. Deepen your understanding of therapeutic area ecosystems, patient journeys, customer needs, and payer needs. This will help build a better environment, achieve success across the portfolio, and increase new growth opportunities. Additionally, you will ensure flawless execution of the sales team and appropriate metrics tracking. You will report directly to Country Director Finland.
Other responsibilities include:
Providing expert insight and direction across the portfolio to ensure that all launches and line extensions are expertly handled to deliver success.
Inspiring the team to develop and utilize patient and customer insights, challenging and innovating within their own roles and the wider AZ environment to ensure that AZ delivers innovative medications to patients.
Building and maintaining strong external relationships with healthcare professionals, payors, patient groups, and other key stakeholders.
Developing the organization and the capabilities in the team.
Unite and encourage the team to work collaboratively toward shared goals, encouraging a cohesive and high-performing environment.
Being a member of the local leadership team.
Essential for the role
Robust pharmaceutical experience including in-market experience of marketing and sales management roles
Previous experience of P&L management, and successful track-record of driving commercial performance
Shown success in launching products into competitive environments
Excellent leadership capabilities in leading and developing teams including succession planning
International or regional experience. Shown ability interacting with and influencing regional and global internal stakeholders
Great at account Planning and Customer Engagement program and processes
Good knowledge in market ethical rules
Bachelors’ Degree in Marketing or equivalent experience
Ambition and motivation for future leadership roles
Desirable for the role
Previous experience in other functional areas of the business such as Commercial Operations, Medical or Market Access
Good understanding of the Finnish healthcare and pharmaceutical funding systems
Some experience with other Therapeutic areas
Both Specialty care and Primary Care experience
