Strategic Account Manager - CVRM

Introduction to Role:

Join us as a Strategic Account Manager in our Biopharmaceuticals Business Unit. This role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver sales targets through external engagement with strategic accounts and leading transforming care projects. The key reason to join us? Accountabilities:

  • External engagement with strategic accounts

  • Book meetings and follow up on meetings with customers, with a focus on coordinating the right activities for the right customer within the right accounts (account planning)

  • Responsible for close teamwork between AZ colleagues in order to reach a high regional “share of voice”

  • Identify, build and develop good and long term business relationships with key customers

  • Initiating and leading transforming of care projects

  • Accountable for the delivery of projects/programmes on time and on budget

  • Leads day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope to ensure timely completion of project and meeting deadlines of project

  • Maintains relationships with key business stakeholders to ensure business requirements are effectively captured and committed to project objectives

  • Ensures that impact and changes resulting from projects/programmes are effectively communicated to the business

  • Ensure that all targeted customer activities are implemented according to BOP and Ethical Interaction policy

Essential Skills/Experience:

  • University education or equivalent

  • 3+ years previous and proven sales/project leading/external engagement experience from Pharma Industry

  • Ability and willingness to travel within the region and according to project needs

  • Strategic thinking: Apply real-time data and insights to conduct a strategic analysis and identify business opportunities that will have the best return on investment for patients, customers and AstraZeneca

  • Account planning: Create customer plans, and/or account plans that outline how I intend to progress customers / accounts

  • Persuasive communication delivered in Group calls, single calls and product booth exhibitions

  • Fluency in local language and good English knowledge required

  • Drivers license required
