Introduction to the role:
The Head of Enterprise Platforms Strategy and Portfolio plays a pivotal role in driving the strategic, operational, and organizational success of the Enterprise Platforms function. This role is ideal for a highly organized, strategic thinker with exceptional communication skills and a proven ability to manage complex projects and relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning and Execution
Partner with the Head of Enterprise Platforms to shape and implement the strategic vision for the organization. Lead the development of annual plans, objectives and key results, and roadmaps to ensure alignment with broader enterprise goals. Track and report on progress against strategic priorities, identifying risks and opportunities.
Operational Leadership
Drive operational efficiency by ensuring processes, tools, and resources are optimized to support the organization’s success. Oversee and coordinate cross-functional projects and programs, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic objectives. Act as a thought partner to the leadership team to identify and address operational challenges.
Executive Support and Communication
Serve as a trusted advisor and sounding board for the Head of Enterprise Platforms, providing insights, recommendations, and solutions. Prepare briefing materials, presentations, and reports for executive meetings and stakeholder engagements. Manage communication flows, ensuring the Head of Enterprise Platforms is informed of critical updates and actions.
Stakeholder Management
Build positive relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, fostering collaboration across teams and functions. Represent the Head of Enterprise Platforms in meetings, as required, to ensure alignment and follow-through on decisions. Act as a bridge between the leadership team and broader organization, ensuring transparency and clarity.
Team Enablement and Culture
Support the Head of Enterprise Platforms in fostering a high-performance, inclusive, and collaborative team culture. Lead initiatives to enhance team engagement, development, and recognition. Mentor and coach team members as needed, promoting professional growth and development.
Special Projects
Lead or support high-impact, time-sensitive initiatives as directed by the Head of Enterprise Platforms. Conduct research, analysis, and scenario planning to inform decision-making. Drive continuous improvement efforts to ensure the organization remains agile and future-ready.
Essential Skills & Experience
Master’s degree in business administration, Technology, Management or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Significant experience in strategy, consulting, program management, or a similar leadership role.
Proven experience working in technology-focused organizations or consulting-based organisation with focus on strategy or transformational initiatives.
Ideally been in a Chief of Staff role before with extensive experience in shaping multi-facet strategic agenda
Strong experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing complex initiatives.
Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience preparing executive-level materials.
High emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build trust at all levels.
Proficiency in technologies and tools that support collaboration, analytics, and reporting (e.g., Microsoft Office, project management tools).
