Since 2013, Astra Zeneca’s facility in Blanchardstown (Alexion), Dublin has served as the Company’s Global Supply Chain and Operations headquarters. The site, which will be home to a large-scale biologics manufacturing facility, is also used to house packaging and testing operations in support of our Global Manufacturing network.

About the Opportunity:

This position plays a supportive role in driving digital transformation, data science initiatives, and commercial excellence within the organization. Contribute to significant projects and gain practical experience in a dynamic environment during this internship opportunity.

Other responsibilities include:

• Data and Digital Transformation Support: Assist in the execution of digital and data-driven projects aimed at enhancing commercial performance and strategic decision-making for both internal and external stakeholders.

• Omnichannel Support: Support in the development, tracking and execution of Omnichannel campaigns. Assist in processes, projects and workstreams that add to the overall Omnichannel effectiveness of the company

• Research and Analysis: Support with research and analysis on industry trends, patient needs, and emerging technologies to support the development of innovative digital health solutions

• Project Management: Contribute to various project management tasks, including scheduling meetings, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and tracking project progress.

• Collaborator Engagement: Collaborate with other key areas of the business including medical teams, and HR to support the implementation of key digital, innovation, capability, and patient-centric initiatives.

• Sales Excellence Initiatives: Participate in sales force effectiveness initiatives by assisting in the development of strategies to enhance sales momentum and growth.

• Compliance and Reporting: Support the monitoring of compliance and digital privacy standards, ensuring adherence to relevant codes, policies, and standards.

Qualification, Skills & Experience

• Currently pursuing or due to complete a bachelor’s degree in business, science, or a related field.

• Interest in digital marketing, data analytics, and innovation management.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Required:

• Ability to understand the collaborative working in a cross-functional, multicultural environment.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Proficient in English; additional languages are a plus.
