Introduction to role:
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Engineer – Agentic AI to spearhead the development of autonomous agents and Conversational-AI systems. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in AI/ML, LLMs, and orchestration frameworks that enable intelligent agents to perceive, learn, and act in dynamic environments. You will work with Microsoft Azure technologies, Python or other technologies collaborating with multi-functional teams to deliver AI-powered solutions that integrate seamlessly into business workflows and conversational interfaces.
Accountabilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy AI agents capable of autonomous decision-making and action execution
- Leverage LLMs and multi-agent frameworks to create intelligent, interactive AI systems
- Optimize and finetune LLMs for agent-based architectures, ensuring high efficiency and accuracy
- Integrate AI agents with external systems, APIs, databases, and enterprise applications
- Implement techniques for long-term memory, context retention, and planning within AI agents
- Develop and enhance Conversational-AI models, including chatbots and virtual assistants, using Azure Cognitive Services, Azure Bot Service, and Azure OpenAI
- Design and implement intent recognition, dialogue management, and natural language understanding (NLU) components
- Ensure scalability, security, and compliance of AI solutions
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in autonomous AI, reinforcement learning, multi-agent coordination, and conversational AI technologies
Essential Skills/Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in AI/ML/NLP development with a strong focus on autonomous AI agents and conversational AI
- 3+ years of experience using LLMs to build Conversational AI applications or AI Agent based solutions
- Proficiency in Python and experience with AI/ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, LangChain, AutoGPT, OpenAI API)
- Experience with multi-agent architectures and frameworks
- Strong understanding of reinforcement learning, prompt engineering, and fine-tuning of LLMs
- Hands-on experience integrating AI agents and conversational models with APIs, databases, and cloud/collaboration platforms specifically SharePoint, Teams, etc.
- Experience in developing web applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, or Angular
- Expertise in Azure AI and ML services, including Azure Machine Learning, Azure Cognitive Services, and Azure Bot Framework
- Proven understanding of vector databases, knowledge graphs, and Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG)
- Expertise in NLP and conversational AI frameworks such as Rasa, Dialogflow, or LUIS, MS Bot Framework
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to conduct thought experiments around AI agent behaviours
Desirable Skills/Experience:
- Experience with reasoning and planning frameworks like ReAct (Reasoning + Acting) or Chain-of-thought prompting
- Knowledge of tools and techniques for memory and persistence in AI agents
- Familiarity with observability, security, and ethical considerations in autonomous AI and Conversational-AI systems
- Contributions to opensource AI agent and chatbot projects
- Microsoft Azure certifications such as Azure AI Engineer Associate or Azure Solutions Architect
