Introduction to Role:
Join us as a ServiceNow Developer at AstraZeneca's Core IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, configuring, and customizing the ServiceNow platform according to business requirements. We are looking for someone with extensive experience and an enthusiasm for delivering top-notch software solutions. The ideal candidate should possess both independent and collaborative working abilities following the best practices and AstraZeneca standards.

Accountabilities:
As a ServiceNow Developer, your responsibilities will include leading the development and customization of ServiceNow modules and applications, ensuring adherence to best practices and established coding standards. You will also be responsible for writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code, assisting in solve and resolving technical issues, creating and maintaining comprehensive user documentation, and engaging with federated teams and end-users to understand their needs, capture feedback, and continuously improve the solutions.

Essential Skills/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Extensive experience as a ServiceNow developer, with a focus on IT Business Management.
- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow core platform capability principles and standard methodologies.
- Demonstrable experience in leading and handling technical teams for ServiceNow development projects.
- In-depth understanding of ServiceNow platform capabilities, modules, and features.
- Proficient in JavaScript, GlideScript, HTML, CSS, and other related technologies for ServiceNow development.
- Experience with ServiceNow integration techniques and third-party integrations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to address complex technical challenges.
- Superb communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- ServiceNow certifications are highly desirable.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies is a plus.
